I know that was tongue-in-cheek, but since you brought it up.... WWE will never, ever use the rafters again. Ever.

Yeah, Vince made that vow the night of Owen's death.

But the mental image of Sting sitting there waiting for Flair to give him a cue was too much to pass up.

The first time Wyatt did the "Whole World In His Hands" bit was cool because it was creepy and unexpected. After that, it played out quickly. Time for another original idea otherwise Wyatt's gonna get stale fast.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that Wyatt has stuck with the song gimmick for a couple of weeks now. He became special because of his originality, now it's just a little stale.

WWE creative will take anything that's popular and run it into the ground

Altho they did reference Sting doing it in this video:

Was actually surprised they showed that

Alright I used to love wrestling during the attitude era when I was younger & have been trying to give it a chance again lately.

I saw a video today that I think may have been from last nights raw where Kane was trying to grab some girl & bring her down under the ring..she escapes Kane, gets out of the ring, then for some reason jumps back in & is flailing around on the ground again? Wtf? Did something go wrong?

She came back in the ring to check on Daniel Bryan after he got choke slammed. Then proceeded to flail.

I'm surprised they would reference it. I remember when Owen died, Vince said they'd never do anything like that again. Owen didn't want to do it to begin with, but Vince insisted.

I think the whole Whole World in his Hands is great for Wyatt on multiple levels. It's a children's song that's been made creepy by him, it has the religious connotation (which bugs southerners/strong conservatives, aka lots of Wrestling fans, making him even more over as a hell), and it goes with his self given name as Devourer of Worlds. The repetition of it lately is about the only thing that is consistent with his insanity.

Plus, "He's got the big bad monster" was just flawless. I'm eating this run up. They should cast him as a villain in their next straight to DVD movie and be done with it before the screw it up somehow.

JMO, but I think they're already screwing up Wyatt by keeping him entangled in this Cena feud. Honestly, he should be facing Bryan rather than Kane. The audience Cena appeals to is not mature enough to understand the whole "devourer of worlds" thing. The audience that is mature enough to understand it, doesn't like Cena so you're doing nothing to build Wyatt's heel status, which is what they should be doing. The older fans have made it quite clear they don't like Cena, and Cena and WWE have shown over the years they won't have him turn heel. It's like running your head into a brick wall over and over again.

Cena needs to take time away. Go do a WWE movie or focus on charity work for awhile. Do something other than swallow up time that can be used to develop newer, fresher guys that don't mind playing the heel. If/when he comes back, give him simpler heels to fight to satisfy the kids, but keep him out of the title picture. Or if he has to have a title, bring back the old TV champion belt AA used to wear.

But that's JMO.

He did.

Has there been a dumber storyline in WWE history than the one currently going on between Cena and those Duck Dynasty-inspired pultroons, the Wyatts?

I mean, really?

The Wyatts are about the best thing the WWE has done in years honestly.
