As previously reported, there are reports coming out of New Orleans on Sunday night that claim The Undertaker suffered a concussion during his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. While we cannot confirm that he suffered a legitimate concussion, we can confirm that he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance immediately after the show.

The reason for his trip to the hospital, where we were informed he will remain overnight, was to run tests to determine whether or not he suffered a concussion, as well as concerns that he suffered an apparent neck injury of some kind.

Undertaker’s injuries came during a spot early into the match where he took a bad fall off of a single-leg from Lesnar.

As far as the finish to the match is concerned, Undertaker’s potential injuries played no part in changing the originally designed outcome. The match went off as planned, with Lesnar scheduled to go over.

We noted in our previous report that very few people behind-the-scenes in WWE were aware of the plan for Undertaker to lose, that might not be the case, as he went from a 40-to-1 favorite in betting websites to an actual underdog by the time the match hit the ring.

I'd be happy with either. Those two along with Bray are my favorite guys.

On a side note, I was really impressed with the Network stream last night. Used the laptop hooked up via HDMI to tv because I had doubts on using the 360 because of all the previous issues. The only lag I experienced was when the glass shattered.

I like all 3 of those too. I was watching on my friend's PS4 and it was fine, no issue at all.

The more I think about it, the more I like the breaking of the streak. There merits of Brock are certainly worth debating, but I really like the way they did it.

The reactions were absolutely priceless. And everyone watching it at my friends' house had the same reaction 100s of miles away.

First time in many, many years we were all truly surprised. We had actually been discussing how these matches had devolved to where the only question was if they would have a spot good enough to where you questioned whether or not Taker would kick out.

I'm interested to see if something comes out about an actual 'wrestling' person handling a lot of the booking/creative last night. Cena/Bray actually telling a story, HHH/Bryan with no shady finish, the 3 Way with great near falls, good pacing, and no shady business, even a throwaway like the Andre Battle Royale actually being used to elevate a guy.

I'm incredibly happy to see they've kept up the gains they've made in the last few weeks. Get that heel roster fleshed out a little bit and 2014-2015 might be a damn good year.

Undertaker was, and is, above all else a company man. He was always about doing "what's best for business" as well, which included keeping other stars in line and on point behind the scenes. It was his call to go out as he did last night; on his back and putting someone else over. We can only hope that Lesnar was humbled by the opportunity and will return the favor when it's his time to do "what's best for business".

He whiplashed pretty hard on one of those back bumps that didn't land flat. It's exactly the kind of thing everybody was worried about happening to him. I hope he resists the "one more match" urge.

Apparently Vince, Heyman, Lesnar went as well for support.

You could see him saying something to Brock almost right before the end of the match. I wonder if it was something along the lines of "im hurt, wrap it up"

I'm sure somewhere down the line we'll see a documentary focusing on the Streak and how it ends and what all went down during the match and after.

The concussion would explain his struggles to get up and why he didn't acknowledge the fans

If his concussion were that bad, I think they would have stopped the match early on. His "struggles" to get up sells the match more, and allows more applause and adulation from the crowd. I think he'll get a "formal" retirement opportunity to acknowledge the fans, perhaps even tonight.

It apparently was bad enough that they went to the hospital immediately. Vince wasn't even in the building for the main event.

There's rumors that Lesnar was basically telling Taker to do everything, and that after Taker botched the first Tombstone (the worst he's probably ever done) Taker told him to end it because he didn't trust himself to make any more moves correctly.

Don't know if that's true, but would explain the pause to everything.

Also, Lesnar and Heyman apparently went to visit him in the hospital after the match too.

I'm rewatching it and he couldn't even sell the german suplexes

Definitely the worst Last Ride in history

While part of me never wants to see Taker wrestle again after last night's debacle, another part of me will be highly disappointed if Sting doesn't show up tonight and challenge him.

It feels like it's kinda tonight or never for Sting to have a match in WWE.

Sting vs Taker at WM31 then both retire and head into HoF.
