I think the weekend's events clearly had a part in his death. Not that he OD'ed or anything, but it was like too much for him to handle. It can't be coincidental.

I hope they have a tribute show to him on the next Raw. I would like to see Cena come out in Warrior paint, since he is the closest embodiment to Warrior that there is in the current product. Would be a good time to bring in Sting as well and have him talk about him, since they were tag partners.

We don't need more reasons to hate John Cena.

I grew up hating Ultimate Warrior. All my friends were Warrior fans and I idolized Hulk. When Warrior beat Hogan at WM VI, I cried.

It's funny how you develop an affinity for the guys you hate just like the guys you love.

Apparently he was a huge a-hole in the locker room back in the day. But I'm sure there's plenty who were/are the same now.

Weird but cool dream last night (altho I'm sure Ben will hate it lol).

Paige came out and issued an open invitation to anyone who wanted to challenge for the diva's title, then CM Punk's music hit. He came out and berated her for winning the title so young, then demanded that she give it back to his fiance. When she refused, he threatened to GTS her, then Austin's music hit. And, as dreams go, that's all I remember. Maybe I need to stop watching wrasslin before I go to bed.

But it did remind me of one thing they're severely lacking in the division that they had back in the day, and that's more interaction between the men and women. And I'm not talking about about crappy interaction like with Santino and Emma. Lita, Sable, Trish, even Chyna all benefited greatly from being directly involved with storylines involving the male wrestlers. More recently, AJ has benefited from it too.

Another thing that bugs me about that is they won't even let them touch each other any more, not even in mixed tag matches. I'm sure that has something to do with Linda's political aspirations. Some of the best moments tho where when, for instance, the Dudley's powerbombed Mae Young or Austin gave Stacey Kiebler the stunner. You never see anything like that now.

I'd be interested to hear some of your guys views on the Montreal screw job and just general thoughts about bret hart and hbk....

Ill hang up and listen

So, like, a general recap of the dead horse that's been beaten for 17 years or...... ?

Just act like its november 10th 1997 and just answer the question I ask...kthx

Then give me your thoughts and views on both bret hart and hbk's careers

Pretty much everyone involved in it was at fault.

Bret should've been willing to drop the belt to HBK.

HBK should've either not agreed to the plan or at least be honest about his part in it.

Vince should've either been honest with Bret and told him he had to drop the belt, or allowed Bret to forfeit the belt to HBK the next night on Raw. Honestly Bret wouldn't have shown up with the belt on WCW.

As it turned out, it all worked out for all of them, more or less. Vince created his evil character, HBK got the title, and Bret ended up looking like a victim in his home country while still being the hero. If anything, Bret got the worst end of the deal cause WCW didn't know how to manage his character and Goldberg f'ed him up. Who knows, if he had still been in WWF he may have been able to keep Owen from dying.

Freud would have a field day with that.

Nancy Disgrace needs to be kicked in the teeth. Another part of the big debacle that is CNN. I wish she'd go search for that plane and drown while doing so.

Couple of tidbits from Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer:

-it was Vince's call to have Lesnar beat Undertaker. Taker just went along with it

-Sting has signed with WWE

Bret should of done business, since he didtn want to do business, it got done for him.
I applaud Vince and I applaud Shawn for have the stones to go through with it.

Bret got what was coming He did it to himself ("Bret screwed Bret")

Stay off the Internet, Shane.

Give him a break. He can't help it he's mad that Bret spit in his dad's hair, blacked his dad's eye, and f'ed up his ankle.
