at this point does it really matter that Bryan isn't headlining WM? He's clearly the biggest hit in the WWE since The Rock. Vince has done a masterful job of making Bryan HUGE.

Not everbody that gets over, gets over because of Vince. The fans have a huge part in it, especially in a case like this. I would say he's got over in spite of Vince.

But most of the reason he's so over because he's the underdog, if they made him the champ before all this, it wouldn't be near as big. Just like Steph just said.

Nope. The sell worked. They sold the fans over so hard in the first hour and a half, they are accepting this. The rebellious fans absolutely suck.

There have been so many underdogs throughout the course of wresting, or potential underdogs. Bryan has got over with his wrestling talent and a simple chant. Unless you think losing to Sheamus in 18 seconds was a masterful booking stroke.

His talent plus the company holding him down has made this what it is. If they caved to the fans a year ago, we wouldn't have this now. It's been built up for a long long time. He will eventually win and fans will go nuts. Then what?

Was I the only one who thought the whole Bryan-HHH-Stephanie skit could have been a direct shot at Punk?

I don't think the fans even wanted him to win the title a year ago. Certainly not like they do now. And let's not forget that he already held the title last summer, but they botched that run and gave it to Blandy Boreton.

If, and I'm still not sure, but if Punk comes back, any chance he comes out to "This Fire Burns" or better yet "Miseria Cantare"?

You really think they blotched it? The Yes/No Chant was really big last summer. Now it's huge because they've pushed this storyline hard for 8 months now. You're marking. Hard.
