With the assumption that Punk won't have an opportunity to lose the belt until TLC, Punk will surpass Cena's longest reign by at least 12 days.

Sounds like they are setting up the Rock/Punk match at RR. This way they have an actual bad guy and a good guy. I don't see how Punk could lose it unless the Rock is planning on staying through Mania. At some point though, they are going to have to give in and give Cena the title back. For good or bad, he's the face of the franchise right now. No matter what they've done recently to hide it, it is what it is. I would've just given him a longer vacation to heal from his injury. Maybe though he doesnt' want that. By default I would think WWE would have to let him come back if he wanted to. Us old folks may hate it, but Cena is the big sell in the grand scheme of things.

If John Cena is picked to give a check to the Komen Foundation over Linda McMahon, that says how huge he is to the company.

Good point. That didn't even cross my mind. But now that you mention it, it also seems like it would be painfully obvious if they had her deliver it. There would be some backlash.

The only backlash would be from people who don't matter, I figure. That image would be a picture she could use for everything, and would really boost her appearance

Figured they would change the terrible main event for SS. Even a Sal Sunseri defense could stop people from ordering that PPV.

I read that too. Hope its true, but I doubt anything will come of it. Even if Linda gives up her political aspirations, I don't see Vince sacking his own daughter from creative.

That is kinda what I was thinking as well but it is nice to know that even some of the wrestlers know what they are putting out there is crap.
