That Bryan Danielson shoot interview on NXT last night was probably the best thing I've seen in wrestling in a long, long time. Reminded me of the Attitude era when they would pull back the curtains a bit, so to speak.

TNA is making budget cuts. With a roster of over 70, and only one TV show for them all, some of the cuts include releasing wrestlers. Just out of curiosity, and because a lot of you know TNA better than I do, I would be interested to see who you guys would cut. Its kinda hard to determine, because some guys are paid-per-appearance, instead of a guaranteed contract. People like that aren't really big drains on the budget. But all things being equal, and not knowing who those guys are, here is my list of people that TNA should cut:

Amazing Red
Bischoff
Mick Foley
Generation Me
Jimmy Hart
Kazarian
Brian Kendrick
Kiyoshi
Magnus
Shannon Moore (not gonna happen tho cause of Jeff Hardy and the impending 3 Count reunion with Helms)
Jesse Neal
Raven
Rhino
Stevie Richards (Dr. Stevie)
Shark Boy
Team 3D (one of the worst and most overrated tag teams in wrestling history)
Sean Waltman
Tomko

Knockouts need some serious trimming. Again, this is not the WWE and there's just not room for them all:

Brooke Adams (Miss Tessmacher; she's hot but too pointless)
Chelsea
Hamada
Christy Hemme (just an interviewer, but I've read her salary is ridiculous)
ODB
Sarita
SoCal Val
Taylor Wilde

Those cuts should shape them up pretty well financially.

There are some other guys I think they should get rid of too, but objectively I don't see it happening. At least trim their salaries:

Russo (he needs to be replaced, but you have to get somebody to replace him first)
Taz (terrible commentary guy, but again needs a good replacement first)
Flair & Hogan (they are still big draws, and at least they're helping to put other guys over...a little)
Jeff Hardy (this guy is a disaster waiting to happen)
Jeff Jarrett (been discussed here; but I think he's still part owner or something)
Nash & Hall (old, but they're still draws and somewhat entertaining, at least when they're not wrestling)
RVD (he's over so its just not gonna happen)

Last but not least, I'd like to see Sting hang up his TNA boots and have at least one WWE run before he retires.

-We've never seen it.
-He doesn't need to go without appearing at least one Wrestlemania.
-Even at his age there's some guys he could have some interesting matches with (HBK, Taker, etc)
-He needs to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, especially with next year's ceremony taking place in Atlanta and rumored to have a WCW theme
-They need to release a DVD set(s) highlighting his career. There's lots of footage that TNA won't have access to, and only WWE does
-One of his big hangups about the WWF/WWE was that they were too raunchy, but they are more family-friendly now than TNA is

As seen tonight at Over The Limit, Randy Orton suffered an apparent shoulder injury during his bout with Edge. Commenting on Orton's injury, TNA star Ken Anderson, formerly known as Mr. Kennedy in WWE, wrote the following on his Twitter account:

"I have one thing to say: Kharma is a M**********R!!

"And it couldn't have happened... To a NICER GUY!!

Orton reportedly had WWE officials release Anderson after dropping him on his shoulder last year during a match on Raw.

Orton wasn't the only rassler responsible for having Anderson removed.

I can understand Anderson being pissed about it, and he's one of the best things about TNA, but to do that publicly is low class.

I agree with Anderson 100%. Orton has milked injuries and whined for years. It all comes back around.

WWE is just puttin on a show, I don't think Orton is even hurt.
At this point, who cares? Orton is a pox on the business. For all of his physical skills, he can't draw flies and is incapable of putting two consecutive sentences together on the stick. Now that Kurt Angle is about to embark on the best program in the history of the business, it's time for real wrestling fans to tell VKM to drop dead. Angle-Kazarian will be better than anything the WWE has put on TV in three years and that's just the start of Kurt's great match series.

Tried to watch SmackDown for the first time in a while. Rey Mysterio vs. The Undertaker? Really? The spots and promo's were pretty bad as well. All and all, WWE still sucks major ass.

Love this feud. Best thing going right now. They need to keep Cole as a heel all the time tho. Its the only way he is tolerable.

The Undertaker breaks his Orbital bone & the WWE killed him off? Ok. I guess they had to come up with something since he's missing the next PPV...

Didn't they say he was in a vegetative state. What I find funny is on the same night they start this "monster" Kane push, they have him eliminated by 5'3 Rey at the end of the night. Typical crap.

I read they're doing the Kane thing because of Takers injury. They wanted to have a story line to explain why he's not going to be at the next PPV.

...I haven't made it all the way through Smackdown yet. I'm on the Kofi/Mcintyer match right now...

The 3-hour viewer's choice raw is off to a gripping start.

For the record, I'd rather see the debate than the 1-arm match.

All of this should have been determined online before the show; Kane-Shemaus was too sudden.

Was awesome.
This probably will rank up there with the NWO in the early stages of beating the hell out of WCW wrestlers backstage in an episode of Nitro while, I believe, in Panama City, FL. I remember it was an outside event.

I seem to remember little Rey being thrown into a trailer.

There was total mayhem that night. No one saw this NXT thing coming. It can get worse if they invade Smackdown or after the second wave of NXT rookies turn on that brand's stars. Lately, there has been a lot of focus on their FCW talent via behind the scenes lately. BTW, this segment has been described as a saving grace of this 3 hour edition.
