I've been a fan of pro wrestling all of my life. I'm 29 now and still a fan - albeit not as big of a fan as I was when I was younger but that's due to the general condition of the sport more than anything else.
You can have your opinion and that's fine that you don't like wrestling but to call us sub-humans is a little ridiculous. I may not like ice skating and equestrian but I don't hold judgement on the fans of those sports.
Professional wrestling is staged we all know that. There is a pre-determined outcome of every matchup. There have only been a few that have really turned into shoots in the history of the sport. I don't see why some people give wrestling such a bad rap. Its staged but try to take a few of the moves these guys dish out on a nightly basis and see how much they really are "pretending" to hit each other. I'm fairly sure Wahoo McDaniel, Ole and Gene Anderson, Ron Garvin, Randy Savage, Frank Gotch, and many many more never pretended to hit anything. They'd really lay it to each other in the ring. I've been around some wrestlers and messed around in the ring with some of my wrestling friends locally. Take a top rope superplex, a powerbomb, a chop, or brainbuster and see how pretend that stuff really feels.
I am a pretty big fan of MMA as well. I've followed UFC ever since they first started coming on PPV in those early days in the mid 90s. I love real fighting as well.
Pro wrestling is just another form of entertainment. Many of the best athletes in the world are pro wrestlers. Maybe it is just a glorified male soap opera but at least it can be entertaining to me and to many others. And just because we enjoy this "show" doesn't mean we are sub human by any means. How many other 7'0 300 pound guys are there in the world as athletic as Matt Morgan? That guy is a freak of nature. John Morrison and the Motor City Machine Guns are some of the most gifted acrabats I've ever saw.
I'm not trying to make you change your mind about wrestling as I'm sure you have your mind made up about that. But I'd hope you could change your mind about lumping wrestling fans into the sub human category as I think that's pretty uncalled for.
