I ran an errand after the intro, came back just in time for Ambrose to walk out, turned it off after the segment was over. Going to bed. Thanks for confirming my decision.

This is random, but they really need to get the US title off of Kalisto. He's doing nothing with it and there are several superstars who it would be a lot better on.

I've said for awhile that long title reigns with the midcard belts do more harm than good. The best way to build back those belts are feuds where two guys trade the belt back and forth multiple times for 6 months or more. Cena's run with the US title last year seems to have done nothing for it.

I agree. And I'm not the biggest fan of tag team superstars holding singles titles. Ryback wouldn't be my first choice, but I hope he wins Sunday. After that, have him feud with a Zayn or Styles or of their current feuds continue, maybe even an up and comer like Crews.

After watching tonight's Raw, I think that Balor is going to debut this Sunday and form the Balor Club with Galloway and Anderson. I think they will interfere in the main event and lay out AJ and Roman to end the ppv.

I'm going to defend Kalisto by saying what is he supposed to do when he best booked opportunity was WM32 pre-show match against Ryback?

Saying he's devaluing the belt (simply as a character) is as equally wrong and opposite the view as someone like John Cena creating more value (simply as a character).

When the company starts taking all the titles more serious, and booking better fueds for the mid card titles, they will become more valuable. More believable booking, creating actual struggles to aspire to these titles, will do the trick.... Not giving it to someone with the highest nostalgic legacy. Brock had the world title and propelled it no higher than a Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens would on their own.

When the WWE stops prioritizing creating the next viral "sing-a-long" chant and focuses on fueds and storylines, the titles will become better.

Stop the world. Mr Henley and I agree.

For one thing, giving brand new NXT stars all the glory is killing build up. I like Zayn. I like Owens fighting ability. I like Enzo and Cass. Styles is the same way. How can he possibly already be the #1 contender? He's great to watch and has all the tools, but even though I've followed him for years, I still don't relate to him being at the top of the WWE food chain. But there is literally no build up to them getting title shots. Owens has been a star since day one. Give him some humble pie. Make him struggle and fight his way back (and make him do it in the most vicious, heel way possible).

All the injuries have obviously been part of the problem, but they could've done a huge tag title push with Harper and Strowman. Put Wyatt in an IC spot as a heel. Given Ambrose a real run with it. Rusev could've gotten the IC or US belts and made the newcomers struggle. I dunno, to me even the WHW belt has lost luster because they just let any new Joe they want to go after it.

Reigns' script for the belt chase was fantastic. He just wasn't the right guy to be going after it.

I agree with most of what you said other than Styles. Before he signed, he was arguably the best to never wrestle in WWE. He's accomplished more than anyone else in the number one contenders match. He's accomplished, a good wrestler, pretty good on the mic, and the fans love him. It makes plenty of sense to me.

Agree 1000%. The reason I want to watch WWE is for the feuds and storylines. It feels to me like those things haven't been as important to them.

But if you give him a three month push with struggles built in instead, then have him face Reigns at SS, the story is infinitely better

I agree that the script was good, and that wasn't the right way to book Reigns. He's not an underdog, nor should he be.
