I watched Smackdown today and Styles is lucky he didn't break his neck on the inverted suplex off the turnbuckle. Not sure if he or Del Rio botched it or if it was a joint effort.

I thought the same thing, that looked very scary on the first camera angle. The replay was from a different angle that disguised the botch somewhat.

I had a thought based on what their appearance reminded me of to a degree. The Outsiders in WCW. The story could even go down similarly all the way down to the "who's the third man?" scenario. And this time the third man would be someone else who has grown stale.............John Cena. Then we have a heel Cena using Gallows and Anderson to cheat and win his record tying 16th world championship.

I don't even think I really like this story, but I thought I'd gauge y'alls interest in this. It would definitely be unexpected aligning them with Cena.

It would never happen. Cena will never turn heel at this point. That ship sailed after his fued with the Rock imo. Plus I don't think I would like it anyways. I think it needs to be AJ or Balor they allign with. Anything else would feel like a let down to the fans that know about the Bullet Club. I honestly think the best thing they can do is allign them with AJ and help AJ win the WWE championship. Then it could be Bullet Club vs Shield at SummerSlam. Big hype match.

Then eventually Balor could come up and dethrone AJ as leader and that would be an epic fued that could lead into Mania. But hey WWE isn't this smart soooo don't get your hopes up.

Serious question, when was the last time you got your hopes up big time about a championship match/feud/event in WWE, and your hopes were rewarded? For me it was Punk beating Cena at MitB 2011.

Dnaiel Bryan overcoming the authority even though it wasn't the original plan was still a great moment I will always remember. Probably my favorite WM moment ever, not going to lie.

But other than that...yeah I would probably have to go back to Punk beating Cena as well.

I missed that, it was during a period of my life where my job kept me from following wrestling at all. I've heard it was a great moment though.

Punknown v. Cena did it for me, because every rational thought I had was that there was NO way Cena would lose. He was at the height of his Super Cena phase, Punk was leaving the company, it just seemed like a no Brainerd that Cena would win. And yet they spun just enough hope into the feud where I had a tiny spark in the back of my mind. And then Punk hit that final GTS and blew a kiss to Vince and my mind was blown.

I agree that the Cena thing is incredibly unlikely. I don't know about a Shield/Bullet Club feud at SummerSlam. I think a Shield rebuild is inevitable but will be huge if it doesn't happen for a couple years. A podcast I listen to actually had an idea that the swerve for the Bullet Club could be joining with Rollins.

They killed the Bullet Club with one segment!

The Bullet Club was set up so good to almost mimmic the way Hall & Nash went to WCW and they destroyed it with that!

But the problem with that is Wednesday they're facing Jordan and Gable for the NXT Titles. Can they lose that and win this tournament?

I'll believe it when I see it but I fully expect the Dudley's to interfere in the final and the Uso's to move on to face New Day!

I really hope they don't do an angle where AJ isn't happy the Bullet Club intfered which makes the Bullet Club turn against AJ. Would be really stupid.
