WWE Thread III

I look at the deal with Brock from a slightly different perspective. He legitimately has a different contract with WWE than the other talent on the roster. I find it very believable that Brock's contract would specifically exempt him from the Wellness policy. Good for his agent/attorney, too bad for WWE. It does make WWE look like they selectively enforce the policy, which is bad PR for them.

I mean, they imposed a suspension on Vince's Golden boy, Roman Reigns, who was working a full time schedule, and in advance of one of the most highly demanded matches in recent years. Don't tell me they couldn't have "worked it out" for him, but they did for Brock. That makes no sense.

All JMO, of course.

For those that didn't watch NXT last night...Mandy Rose.

My friend and I think this is a work from WWE to make her unable to wrestle again. It makes too much sense honestly.

I've honestly enjoyed the current gimmick of having her "no contest" every match. The problem with that is that you quickly run out of reasons to no contest, and the viewer eventually expects some sort of resolution. Either "what's it going to take to make her wrestle," or "stop her from wasting everyone's time."

Maybe a lumberjill match, where all the women she has no-contested are the enforcers making sure she finally has her debut match. Then after, pair her with, say, a newly contracted Heath Slater.

Depending on the legitimacy of this suspension, I think Eva's story might end in a battle royale. I don't like crowning a champion in a battle rolyale, but they could do that for the Smackdown Women's title. It could go two ways from there. Either all the women gang up and beat the crap out of Eva.

Or they all ignore her and she wins. Massive heat. Her being champ would make a complete mockery of the Smackdown Women's division so I don't know where I really fall on this.

I think Heath Slater eventually ends up signing to NXT.

What if during all of these promos he is slowly shedding weight... and in the semifinals of the Cruiserweight Classic we get a 20 minute match and both sides DQ, so we think someone is getting a bye (I'd give it to Bryan Kendrick because then he'd have an excuse to come to the ring and promo anyway) only to Have HHH or Regal or someone say "Actually, we found someone that is worthy of fighting you in this round..." and out comes Heath Slater in the CWC

Sami Zayn on the Pre-Show and Kevin Owens in a random tag match at Summerslam?

SO glad creative decided to end their feud at Battleground a month before the 2nd largest show of the year

I will go out on a limb here and say that Heath Slater is not physically capable of putting on a match on the level of ANY of the CWC matches I have seen so far.

However, I think you are right that the 20 minute time limit rule will come into play before the end of the tournament.
