Well we never did see what the original plan for her was as she was paired with Emma when she was called up. Emma ended up getting hurt a week later and for what ever reason they shifted her over to Charlotte.
But still...there's no situation in which Dana Brooke was ready to be a main roster women's wrestler. Also, she's not nearly adequate enough on the mic to be a valet. She's mediocre or worse at everything except body building. She's not even capable of learning any other flexing pose. She's atrocious and is taking up the roster spot and the roster money of a women's wrestler who actually deserves it.
I agree for the most part. I don't think shes atrocious. I think she's alright on the mic. But she definitely needs to get in ring down quite a bit. However, she was improving in NXT. I look at the match she had with Asuka, she kept up with Asuka, and took a beating. She made Asuka look really good. Obviously Asuka had a large part in making herself look good as she is incredible in the ring, but Dana held her own and only helped. Then suddenly she gets called up and is not progressing at all. Her and Crews got called up prematurely big time.
They were really good but i was annoyed by the announcers acting like they were doing things they'd never seen before.
Really? The announcing was a fresh of breath air to me. They actually seemed excited to be calling the matches and were paying attention to the match rather than talking about random pointless things. Thats how announcing is done. Im glad they got excited for moves. Heck, the announce team was one of the main reasons I loved it so much. D-bry is way better at announcing than I thought he would be. His passion for the business comes through in a good way.
They were good at it, they were just going overboard about moves that you see a couple times a week on Lucha Underground saying they'd seen it before. And Ranallo's voice still hasn't grown on me yet lol.
You have to understand that their not announcing for the fans that watch all different types of wresting, their announcing for the fans that only watch WWE that might not have seen these moves before. They have to sell the excitement of the moves to the casual fan. They can't just be who cares, I saw this move on Lucha Underground last week.

I haven't watched WWE in a very long time. I just tuned in this week to Raw and Smackdown, just had the itch. My question is what the hell happened? I watched 2 shows and no one got hit by a chair or put through a table. Also are there any characters anymore? We use to have Kane, Undertaker, Mankind, and weird characters such as these. Does this just not exist anymore? It all just seemed really lame compared to what it use to be. Of course to be fair these are the first 2 shows I've seen in years, so apologies of I'm off base.
