Brad Maddox got fired for saying "picks". Lol wow.

Exactly. Maybe I missed what crusse is talking about, because I never saw Shane stumble, I just know they censored like 5 seconds of talking from Vince. It was if they expected something much worse. Apparently he only used one expletive though.

We (my 8 year old son and I) have tickets to Raw this Monday. I haven't really kept up with wrestling since the late 90s, but my son is into it...hence the tickets for his B-Day gift. I've watched with him off and on for 6 months and honestly can't make myself care, but I am beyond pumped to see the Undertaker. My son is a huge Roman Reigns and John Cena fan. Am I to assume that neither guy will be there this Monday? He will be bummed...

I would imagine Reigns will at least make an appearance. Gotta think he doesn't wrestle though. Could be wrong though and he doesn't show.

Shane did appear to forget his lines at some point. He was like "generational.....generational...." Before Vince cut him off

Those going to Raw should get a pretty good Divas match as I think the #1 contender match between Sasha & Becky will take place or am i wrong?

It's supposed to take place, but I fully expect it to not go to a decision. Next week should start the process toward making it a Triple Threat

I've read on several sites that the WWE maybe scaling back on the PG rating and trying a PG13 Mini Attitude era!?

For someone who went through the Monday Night Wars & Attitude Era during his late Middle School & High School years I welcome it!

If WWE gets rid of PG, I would be absoultely shocked. This past RAW did have some very non PG elements, like Vince cussing, and Reigns basically using fake blood. But I'll believe it when I see it happen.

Would love to see some weapons other then just extreme rules

WWE doesn't need the attitude era (though I somewhat agree with red equals green) but I think more consistent storytelling would really do the trick.

there are rumors that they might scale back some of the PPVs. I think that will do wonders for them. I'm sure it would be gradual, but even if they could get to down to just 8, it could really set a tone to milk storylines better

They could devote those other four Sunday nights to live NXT programming.

That's a good point. The best parts of the Attitude Era were the angles.

The actual TV14 stuff was usually garbage (giving birth to hands, "choppy choppy your pee-pee", and while I appreciate the Lita flash- live sex celebrations.)

My thing is, no WWE doesn't need to go full attitude era, and sex and blood all the time. But a bit here and there, go for it. Blood shouldn't be overused but it can really add to some matches and fueds. Blood should be in hardcore matches and in fueds where you feel the guys want to kill each other.

And, I think WWE should have try and get the number of ppvs down to 10. And see how it works. I could never see them dropping below 10 though, although 8 does seem like a great number. We should get higher quality RAWS and PPVs then. Fingers crossed.

If reigns can't get a pop now I don't think anything will

If they continue to keep him as a face, then I agree that there's not much else they can do to get him over (other than booking him correctly like they did at TLC and the following night on a consistent basis). However, if they turn him heel and let him go on a successful monster heel run, then I think he'll start to get over with hardcore fans.

I also agree that they should bring back some attitude era stuff (blood, hardcore elements, ect) into the current product, but they shouldn't fully revert to that.

I don't know if the post TLC RAW was necessarily correct booking for Reigns (although that may have been the best he's ever been presented), but more about WWE cramming what would have been typically a months worth of story into one night. That night and this past week with Shane's return are probably the best episodes of RAW in the past year.

Because of that, I don't think they should rush and decrease the number of PPVs yet. Creative struggles to give decent angles from month to month, and now they're thinking about making the gap between PPVs larger? The creative department at WWE needs a serious overhaul in how they build feuds, then once the stories get better they can decrease to like 9 or 10 PPVs.

If they do decrease the amount of PPVs I really hope they get rid of the gimmick ones. Having the Extreme Rules show right after Mania, when the feud is still new, really doesn't feel right.
