I mean the IC title is Owens/Ambrose in a Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble. That's pretty significant especially considering what it was last year.

So maybe some validity of A.J. Styles winning.

Not necessarily true. For all his faults, Vince put major emphasis on the IC belt early in his career and it certainly seems like they are going that way again. They even did it with US belt, but this version of Del Rio is just boring. A similar version of the wealthy, arrogant version of Del Rio would help. Maybe. I dunno. It just seems like he's gotten stale.

The Vince you know now is not the same one from long ago.

I'm holding out hope WWE is doing their Rollins booking with Owens. He loses the early match so you don't really think he has a chance to win later on. Doubtful though.
