From watching last night it looks to me like this will be the face turn for Brock without actually turning face. I am in the minority, but I actually think Reigns is best suited for Brock. I mean, that replay of the triple threat match there was nothing but suplex after suplex until Brock got put down.

At this point to me I don't care who beats Brock I just want him gone.

It started like that for the first two minutes and was beautifully planned. Their basically set the tone of the whole thing, that if they were going to pin Lesnar, they would have to do something exceptional. Both Cena and Rollins did, and it still wasn't enough. It's just WWE creating their monster.

Well, in this case, the monster was made. WWE is just showcasing him. I love the way WWE has made Lesnar, though I certainly wish they had signed him to more appearances. That's my only gripe.

Has there been any talk of a Sting/Taker match at WM?

I would kind of like to see HHH/Rock in a retirement match and have Rock lose clean. They've hinted at the two of them going one more time.

No, looks like right now the plan is Sting/HHH and Taker/Wyatt.

The point is not that we expected Reigns to be great in the ring or great on the mic right away. That completely misses the entire point...

The point is that Rock, Cena, etc did not get to win the biggest match of the entire year way before they were ever ready for it. Huge difference.

Thinking back to a year ago at the Rumble. Reigns would have went over somewhat had he eliminated Batista at the end instead of the other way around. I remember wanting him to win it.

This time a year ago, the Shield were the best thing in the WWE. Since they've split up, Reigns have fallen off while the other two, especially Rollins, have enhanced their characters.

Philadelphia, of all places, is not the place to force feed a guy like Reigns. Their fans are brutal in every sport and in wrestling too.

Reigns is like the sad little kid who got left behind, still dressing in Shield attire, still using their entrance, while the other guys have moved on.

That is exactly why I think there is no one else but RR that they could pair up with Brock. WWE has made Brock into their monster but I think they went over the top and now they are having trouble putting someone opposite him and it having any shot at being a believable match.

I agree! Now that the family bloodline is out, it would be nice to give him a make over along those lines.

The Samoan Swat machine - Roman Reigns!

Someone in creative and/or the upper hierarchy of WWE should've considered the location of the RR. But I think the biggest problem wasn't Reigns winning, it was having no real contestants at the end. We knew Kane, Show, Rusev and Cesaro weren't winning. There could've been a curve ball with Ziggler, but he was knocked out early. It was blatantly obvious that Reigns was going to win before he even set foot in the ring. But to not offer any real challenge or any tough wrestling leading up to his win made the show a snoozer. You can't get away with that in Philly. The live crowd reacted and caused even more dissension among viewers.

They can make Reigns interesting, But there's no excuse for not changing his style/entrance like they did with Ambrose and Rollins

I could be wrong but I think Brock and Reigns, might end up having one of the worst world title matches in Mania history. You have two guys who aren't good workers in the match. Is it going to be Brock dominating for 15 minutes then all of a sudden Reigns hits the superman punch and spear for the win?

It will be akin to Lesnar/Goldberg, I think. Even Austin's involvement couldn't save that.

I hate to pile on the guy, but the Iron Shiek on twitter:

DEAD DOG CUT BETTER PROMO THAN THE ROMAN REIGNS

You hit the nail on the head. IMO!

This just released!

WWE Network Pins 1M Subs, Taking Company Shares Off The Ropes

WWE Network Pins 1M Subs, Taking Company Shares Off The Ropes

Investors thought they’d see this milestone earlier, but appear grateful at its indication that the slow-growing service hasn’t stalled. WWE shares rocketed 15% in afternoon trading after it announced that its subscription streaming service signed its 1 millionth customer. That’s up 37% globally, and 24% domestically, from the end of Q3. “We remain focused on delivering an outstanding value proposition for our fans by adding new content and new features in the coming year,” CEO Vince McMahon says.

The announcement comes at a difficult time for WWE. It has lost 46% of its market value over the last 12 months as it became clear that the $9.99 a month online service was cannibalizing revenues from the company’s popular pay-per-view broadcasts. The company said last May that it would need at least 1.4 million subscribers for the initiative to pay off.

That goal appeared to be in jeopardy on Sunday when many fans were disappointed with the Roman Reigns’ victory in WWE’s annual Royal Rumble event. #CancelWWENetwork briefly became the top-trending topic on Twitter as word spread that WWE Network’s cancellation page had crashed. WWE says today that the event and the launch of WWE Network in the UK helped to drive the recent subscription growth.

I figured on Rollins cashing in his MITB and Bryan winning the RR to set up Rollins/Bryan at WM. I think the "WWE Universe" would have been happy with that.

If they truly want him to take Cena's place, this is more or less what is going to happen. Yawn.

From the What......

WWE is reportedly no longer branding WrestleMania with numbers, at least with the logo. Instead, symbols are being used to distinguish each event.

It was announced last week that WrestleMania will come to AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 3rd, 2016 and "32" is nowhere to be seen on the logo. It instead features a star to represent the "Lone Star State." On top of that, the logo for this year's WrestleMania features a "Play" button. to represent Silicon Valley, which is near Levi's Stadium, in Santa Clara, California.

This is according to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, who said on Wrestling Observer Radio today that the events are no longer being branded with numbers "because Vince McMahon thinks it makes it sound too old."

From the What......

Saw this last night. I don't think they'll be able to go through with it simply because of how difficult it would be to look back at past WM's. What would you say, Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania: San Francisco?

Even if WWE doesn't put numbers on the logo, people are going to number WM. Another sign of proof that Vince has lost his mind.

Apparently Vince thinks it is too old fashioned or something?? The NFL doesn't seem to have a problem using roman numerals!
