Vince has to learn this isn't 1989. Surely this story is about to end right? I'm almost at a point where I hope Ryback does screw up and hurts Rusev. Nothing too serious, just enough to take him off the air for a month or two.

Just wait until Hideo Itami debuts on the main roster with a North Korean gimmick.

This Ryback promo is really interesting

Didn't think they'd do this. He did an interview on Jericho's podcast where came off really well. I think I may have even posted something about it. They need to just let him be real. People will buy this guy's actual personality as a face.

Vince just gave Punk the most out in the open, yet under the table F*** you ever. That was actually really good.

My thoughts exactly.

Y'all really ought to listen to that interview. It may be a complete work, but it's really surprising how articulate and classy Ryback comes off.

Punk ripped Ryback on two occasions basically saying he botched spots and was dangerous as a performer. Punk even when as far as to suggest the botches may have even been on purpose. There are rumors that a lot of the other stuff Punk put out may have at least some truth to it, but supposedly Ryback is well received backstage and this was Vince's way of telling Punk to get over himself.

Tag match in the 9:00 slot? There's got to be either a turn or an Ascension intro coming up.

The podcast was really good. Never expected Ryback to be so articulate and knowledgeable about what wrestling is all about and how to approach it. I obviously didn't mean what I said, but the Rusev bit really is extremely stale and boring. The Ryback promo is the only thing keeping me watching. This is as bad a start as you could ask for when RAW finally doesn't have to go against MNF.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Are they finally bringing importance to all the belts? That was a lot better match than I expected.
