I'm not that familiar with NXT members, so who are these Road Warrior-Esq characters we've been seeing in these promos the last couple of weeks?

I accidentally liked that post lol.

They were the NXT Tag Team Champs for a really long time (maybe over a year? I don't remember). They are The Ascension and im not excited about seeing them in WWE.

GA, im watching the Nitro after the Higan turn just to see how much trash fans tossed in the ring. Hopefully im not disappointed.

I actually like them in ring, but they're screwing up what they had in NXT already with these promos. In fact, the women (by far) and tag teams are probably better in NXT than on the main roster.

I read somewhere that Hogan, Hall, and Nash are supposed to make an upcoming RAW appearance in January, with the possibility of Shawn Michaels being there as well. Assuming ratings must be lagging again, because that's normally when they start bringing in the older talent to try and get a boost.

Backstage News on Roman Reigns' WrestleMania 31 Push, How WWE Sees Dean Ambrose, More
By Marc Middleton
Dec 19, 2014 - 11:27:33 AM

- WWE has had plans for Roman Reigns to win the 2015 Royal Rumble and go on to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 31 but there is a lot of skepticism on whether or not Reigns is ready for a push that big.

While Reigns may need some promo work and isn't that good on his own in lengthy singles matches, WWE is in need of a new top babyface star and that spot is his. There were plans for Randy Orton to to continue turning but Orton isn't a new star. Daniel Bryan is not WWE's type for the main event role, no matter how fans react to him, and there are still uncertainties regarding Bryan's future due to neck and elbow injuries.

That leaves Reigns and Dean Ambrose as the new top babyfaces. Ambrose is a better in-ring worker and delivers better promos but he fits less into WWE's mold of what they want their top babyface star to be. While Ambrose and Reigns both do strong merchandise numbers, with Ambrose's new hoodie being #1 during Thanksgiving, neither is doing numbers strong enough to be a top guy.

However, WWE will likely stick with the plans for Reigns' WrestleMania push as he's still considered the new top babyface

A lot of that seems like press releases from WWE itself. Saying a healthy Bryan isnt the main eventer is the exact they've pushed all along while making him a main eventer. Seems like this is WWE's way of saying Bryan is hurt, so we're making Reign's our top dog because the only thing that works better than Viagra for Vince McMahon is a really big man being top dog in WWE, regardless of actual pro wrestling entertainment ability.

Worth it to go listen to the Ryback interview on Jericho's podcast. Not what I expected at all.

Almost listened to it tonight after i listened to the 2 Ambrose ones and Stone Cold's "Betty Ford South". I will soon now that i don't need to listen to fantasy football ones anymore.

Not much discussion tonight, Raw must have sucked again?

Rollins vs Cena, Ziggler-Harper, Reigns - Big Show and Wyatt- Ambrose in what they called a Miracle On 34th Street match. Basically no DQ with Christmas decorations. They had Pipers Pit with Rusev but I missed it watching the game.
