I like Punk, but he's clearly embellishing and full of crap. "I quit. I'm an independent contractor so I could quit any time I wanted." "Vince suspended me for 2 months and I was fired on my wedding day."

So which was it? Maybe the concussions messed his brain up and he's not thinking logically.

I feel bad for Punk about his health. That's not right (if it's true) and shows how out of touch Vince is.

The booking stuff? You were champ for 434 days and fought Taker at Mania. Get over it.

The problem with the title run was that for most of it he wasn't booked like a top guy. He didn't even get to main event a lot of the ppvs.

a. He was the champ. for over a year straight. Thats unheard of since the '80s.
b. He got to cut longer promos than anyone. He was almost the only one getting to come out and cut promos. And he basically had free reign on topics to discuss
c. He got to beat literally everyone on the roster that was even remotely notable.
d. BAAAAAAAAAAA BAAAA BAAAAAAAAAAA Punk Sheep.

If the health issues were so big, they wouldn't be just coming out 11 months later. He wouldn't have to put up the garbage crap about booking and being mistreated. Punk's just a whiny little b**** who was huge, but never could get over as top man, because the little kids love Cena.

I'm a CM Punk fan so all i can say is BAAAA BAAAAA BAAAA

I actually applaud you for admitting it. If Punk had come out and only brough up the medical issues, I'd probably lean towards giving it more credibility. But he's just piling on all sorts of rumors and excuses and too many of them are quite see through to me. Makes me think the medical issues are excuses too. And I still don't see how Vince can pull those kind of stunts in the middle of pushing the company into being publicly traded and still lingering over the steroid cloud.

Honestly their is probably a little bit of truth coming from sides and both sides are probably lying about some things. We will probably never know the real truth.

There's no doubt wrestlers are expected to work through certain aches and pains. It's wrestling. It may not be real, but it sure isn't a painless endeavor. There is no possible way you can be put through a table, regardless of how flimsy it is without some pain. Even the regular falls have a certain amount of pain associated with them. And it's not like Punk was a pure technical wrestler like Malenko or the one who can't be named by WWE anymore. He set himself up for some seriously painful falls that have long term effects. Look at Foley. He knows what he did to his body. He's not blaming anybody. And in fact, WWE has started making much bigger strides in taking care of the Legends now that they see the long term effects. I've dogged WWE on several issues and you're probably right, they probably do shoulder some blame, but I think most wrestlers understand that going in. And I would almost guarantee that TNA, RoH, New Japan and all the indie circuits hide way more than WWE is hiding. I think Punk realized what was going to happen to himself the more he kept doing this and wanted out. I don't blame him, but his blame game is extremely over the top imo. I think maybe he let his character get the best of him.

Sorry to change subject but the plan is right now for Roman Reigns to take on Brock Lesnar at WM 31 for the wwe world title but what happens if Daniel Bryan is back in time for Wrestlmania season and is just as over as when he got injured. Wouldn't he have a claim for a title match since he never actually lost the title in a match to begin with?

WWE has been flipping scripts all over the place since Punk quit, Bryan got injured and then Reigns got injured. There's even some speculation that plans were changing when they realized Reigns wasn't drawing as well as they expected. I honestly don't think they have the final plans for WM decided yet. Trips and the rest of creative have even been fooling the mark sites A LOT lately.

I agree with this, there may be some truth to the heath/injury stuff, but I have a hard time believing they are that bad. I mean hell the performers especially the top tier ones are an investment for the company, it is in their best interest to keep as healthy as possible as long as possible to get the most out.

How long has Michael Cole's voice been your text tone?

So do you have any actual thoughts to bring to the table? Or can you only talk smack with nothing to back it up? Serious question. Would love for something more than a smack talk answer.

I've already stated my opinion. Guess you can't read.

Fact of the matter is Vince's tendency to ride money-making talent until they collapse is well-documented and has been criticized before. Punk's revelations in that regard aren't new, and only add to the amount of smoke wafting from WWE HQ.

Until the bulk of the active roster walks out demanding a company wellness overhaul, it's all for naught. Especially while apologist fans continue to support the product. As I stated, Vince has done a hell of a job ensuring his "universe" stays loyal to the logo. That's good business. I'm just glad Punk was willing to shed light on the true cost of it all.

everything I've stated shows why I feel the way I do and that it is my opinion.. I've even stated we'll never know. You on the other hand are just name calling and pretending like what you're saying is fact. Since the wellness overhaul in '05-'06, the WWE has distanced itself from the old school ways of hiding injuries, drugs, etc.

walking out of a live show and not returning for almost six months with no contact to your employer is not leaving to take time off and heal. Sorry to inform you of that.
