I hope this "Cena says when you come back" stipulation leads us to a heel Cena at some point down the road, or at least setting us up for it.

Cena a heel?

Pretty cool ending although I wish they could have pumped it better instead of him just walking out. But alas.

Just some thoughts:

1) I know he didn't truly get the pin, but I loved that they went with Ziggler to end it. I thought that was really cool and he deserves it and I really was impressed by him as always in the ring.

2) The lack of Cena was truly crazy. He got less than five minutes in ring. The lack of Ryback was incredibly weird also.

3) Big Show heel turn....yawn.

4) I did like what I saw from Erick Rowan. Guy has potential and if they do more than "crazy backwoods redneck" he can be a solid mid carder.

5) Luke Harper I think gets Most Impressive tonight. That guy can go in the ring.

6) I mean, how cool was the Sting thing? I think the "leak" from WWE ruined it a little bit. The crowd popped but I was hoping for a little bit more and I think people were waiting for it, which ruin the overall pop. Plus, showing the video before him kind of hurt it too on the jumbotron but whatever.

7) I still haven't given up on Wyatt/Ambrose. That feud can work, it's just going to take a little more time. The ending was cool but Cole screaming "Bray Wyatt has been buried!!!" made me chuckle.

8) I really wish Randy Orton gave an RKO to Triple H at the end. That would have perfect, no?

9) So where do we go from here? I still think this isn't over. I still think we get "The Authority". But who the hell knows? Have to watch.

10) Last thought: So I don't know mind a Triple H/Sting match at WM31 because Triple H can carry that match, but I still think an up and comer like Wyatt/Ambrose or even Rollins could really use that spot against him. But they might have more than one Sting match. I would fantasy book Wyatt beating Sting to end his career because that could really work IMO, but if I had to absolutely guess without checking rumors yet a Triple H/Sting loser is forced to retire match looks like the way it will go.

Thought Sting's entrance was kind of weak.

It was. Honestly, it took too long. I know they couldn't do the rafters thing but that would have been so awesome.

You know for the video game commercial they had violinists with the Sting face paint playing the Crow theme. I would have done that. Have a single violinist playing the Crow theme at the top. Triple H is confused. Then you hear 100 of them with them on top in the dark. Then they stop. You see their face paint. Lights out for five seconds. Sting goes behind Triple H with the bat, knocks him the **** out, then he knocks Rollins the **** out, Ziggler for the pin.

It was still cool though.

That was the reason I wished JR was on the call. He would've sold it without the pageantry zjc discussed. At least roll out some dry ice for his entrance since JR wasn't there. Or, make the vignette more questionable to shock and awe the crowd. But I still say JR would've sold it singlehandedly.

I don't care about the Big Show turn because it makes no sense, but whatever. It just makes him look like a p****. So there goes the Henry feud. But I didn't want to see that anyway.

Also appreciate that all the young stars carried the main event. Hopefully WWE is turning the corner. Great work by Ziggler, Rowan, Harper, Rollins, even Rusev and Ryback.

I think it would've worked better without an entrance at all. That felt like a cheeseball, generic entrance that Jimmy Hart would've put together for WCW in the mid 90s.

Are you saying he just runs out? Or lights go out and he appears in the ring? If it's the latter, I would've needed Tony Schiavone on the call.

I would have went: lights out, some eerie, Undertaker-esque vignette that was at least a little vague, lights up and Sting in the ring behind HHH. Crowd goes nuts, HHH turns and gets gutted with the baseball bat, and then follow with the remainder.

There you go.

I wonder if he can even actually hit the Stinger Splash anymore?

He was still hitting it towards the end of his TNA run, IIRC. For a career in wrestling, I think he's stayed fairly healthy. I think he messed up a knee once, or maybe twice, but he's taken care of himself for the most part. Never struck me as a 'roider either.

Guys like him never really needed to be super ripped or powerful like a Hogan or a Cena (or even a Rock/HHH). That's one reason why I liked him so much, his best attribute was his character, which isn't to diminish his wrestling at all.

Go look at a picture of the Bladerunners and see if your roids opinion changes.
