A huge problem is that a lot of fans just don't buy heel/face anymore. They cheer who they like and who does a good job. Like Bad News Barrett. That should have been instant heat but fans liked his character and cheer him.

Who was the last guy to get true heel heat consistently? CM Punk with the Straight Edge Society?

I'd consider the Nexus as a true heel stable, but for a specific person, you're probably right on. All the way back to when he went after Jeff Hardy. That was an incredible feud.

Was that before or after Punk with the SES?

Orton as The Legend Killer was pure awesome.

I read that the closest they came to giving the Streak before Lesnar was Orton but that Vince felt that Orton didn't need it.

I think after but i could be wrong. SES seems like forever ago.

Head punting Orton didn't have as much heat as the Straight Edge Savior.

Speaking of Punk, with nude pics being leaked of his wife I have gave up all hope of a return.

It would really be awesome to see him go back to ROH, just cause he can.

HHH has had some deep runs with the sledge hammer that made him as close to universally hated as you could get. Nexus was there. The Shield were supposed to be and they went above and beyond to try and force it, but being the first new blood in ages, no one could accept them as heels.

Also the AJ Lee pic is fake according to LoP.
