Oh I agree and I am not saying it would be a good idea. I am just saying the whole foreign character is just not the draw that it was back in the days with the Iron Sheik or Ivan Koloff.

Very true, but didn't the angle really start to take off right after the stuff with Russia going into Ukraine? Here, it kind of reinvigorated the notion that America was good and Russia was bad, if I remember correctly

Yeah that was when he went to waiving the Russian Flag and putting down Americans I believe.

So a mediocre show last night sprinkled with a few good things here and there but ultimately Randy Orton saved the whole thing and I think he supposed to be on Smackdown this week which should be interesting!

Stephanie was smoking hot!:shades: I also liked her scolding Show & Kane like they were kids.

Really digging Truth and his current antics. :good!: I guess they dropped the Stardust/Cody vs. Golddust angle quicker than the Bella's fighting each other one.

The Uso's have gotten so boring/annoying that they bordering on New Day territory. :dunno:

So I have no idea who Wiz Khalifa is and would have preferred it was Mia instead. :censored: (I wouldn't have fast forward through it)

Paul Heyman rules!! Was some of that off script?? It seemed to be! :yikes:

Bray Wyatt awesome.

I actually liked the Cena/Rusev stuff as well. Cena putting Rusev in his place even if it wasn't a match, also what was with that look on Cena's face?

And Randy Orton giving Rollins the Stone Cold Salute :the_finger: followed by a great beat down and then the RKO!!

I forgot the Cena/Rusev build. That has been pretty good too. Nothing else has been built that would make wanna watch tho. Actually come to think of it, I really don't care that much about Rollins/Orton now, as last night seemed to be more of a payoff.

I only heard the end of it and thought it didn't sound anything like him, but my friend said it was his voice slowed down or something. No idea why they would do that.

Vince probably thinks Sting's normal voice isn't intimidating enough. Too surfer dude for him. Much for the same reason he doesn't like JR's voice. Too southern. What an idiot.

A couple of weeks ago I noted that the Vince/Lesnar feud smelled like a storyline. If there really was some beef there, Dave Meltzer would have known the whole inside story within 2 hours. To this day he claims he doesn't know exactly what it was about. Heyman's promo last night just screams that it's all a work. The promo was glorious, but planned out. He even seemed t know when his mic was going out.

It's a genius move though. Makes Lesnar more of a heel and brings people around to Reigns. I still think that match will be a snooze fest. As will Trips-Sting and Taker-Wyatt. The storylines for those two matches are fantastic and I'll watch Taker-Wyatt just to see Wyatt hopefully get over and Taker's entrance. I'm scared at how bad I think the Trips-Sting match will be. They are going to wind up with more people in this IC Ladder Match than the Royal Rumble. WWE couldn't actually create storylines for every one that deserved a spot, so they've lumped everyone else that matters into the IC title match. The Andre the Giant Battle Royale is so watered down, Ryback and Axelmania are coming in as favorites. Only thing that will save that match is Damien Sandow/Mizdow/Wizdow winning it. Doubt that happens. We're not that fortunate. There isn't even going to be a Divas Title match at Wrestlemania. And they continue to screw up the tag team division with every move they make. New Day, Ascension, and completely overexposing the Usos.

The only match that has any intrigue at all to me is Orton-Rollins. And this is Wrestlemania.

What sold me on the whole thing being a work was not only the fact that Heyman knew his mic would go out but also the simple fact that it kept cutting out then on again. If he was really going off the cuff with that promo then his mic would have been cut off only one time.

I agree about Taker and Wyatt. Sting and HHH I think might be ok but it will really depend on what kind of shape both men are in.

Reigns and Lesnar is going to be a watered down UFC fight. IMO.

I'm finally watching Raw and I'm really glad to see what they're doing with the Warrior Award...THAT is doing what's right and good

I always thought jack swagger should be the one to take down rusev. Surprised they didn't push that rivalry more.

I agree. I think Swagger got in more trouble with WWE than they let on about his arrest.

I wonder if something crazy happens when (I mean, ummm if) Wyatt beats Taker. And by crazy I mean pyros, light shows, etc.

Tyler Breeze=next great heel.

Think Miz with excellent wrestling abilities.
