As for Benoit, I think he was a HoF caliber wrestler, but what he did, even though his brain was damaged like crazy, was so horrific that I just don't see them ever putting him in. If it had just been suicide, I think he would make it. The fact it was a murder suicide, no chance in hell. He was an outstanding wrestler though.

There are steps that they can take to get to where they can induct him. The first one, though, is making a month every year dedicated to raising money for research into CTE. From there, you can officially separate Chris Benoit from the thing that did those horrible acts.

I'm in agreement. Have a PPV event even where all the proceeds go to CTE research.

I think it's very unfair that we judge people with mental illnesses (especially those whose were caused by their profession) so harshly and without care. Part of dealing with depression/mental disorders in a public forum. It's a shame we treat them so differently than a broken leg or the flu when they are generally no different, only harder to diagnose.

I get your point. I suffer from bipolar disorder myself, and there is other mental illness that runs in my family. Mental illness does carry a dark stigma with it. It is unfair. Most people cannot relate to it as an actual illness. They don't understand it and many don't want to understand it. They'd rather just avoid it all together, which if I'm being honest, a large part of me doesn't blame them. How do you explain something so complicated? I've never found a way to do it myself. I truly believe the only way to understand it, is to actually have to endure it. It can't be explained, it can only be felt. And I don't wish the experience of feeling it on anyone.

All that said, Benoit's illness claimed more than himself as a victim. If he had just committed suicide, if he were the only victim of his illness, I would have no problem with his inclusion into the HoF. The fact that his illness drove him to do such horrendous things though, I just don't think it allows for inclusion.

Sometimes, life is unfair like that. Anyone who suffers from mental illness eventually learns that lesson. Some things can't be fixed, no matter how hard you try. Some things can't be overcome, no matter how hard you work. If the world were perfect, mental illness wouldn't exist, but it's not perfect, and in that imperfectness, you realize, life isn't fair.

So, I been fantasy booking for WM, fyi I haven't a clue what's going on in WWE.

Ambrose/Rollins kick off the show with a slobber knocker
I want The Rock vs HHH at WM, I seen them wrestle 1,000 times as a youth but never at WM
Undertaker vs Sting
Cena/Rusev

The main event is gonna be a triple threat with Bryan vs Reigns vs Brock. Last month, I was thinking Undertaker shows up tombstones Brock followed by a Reigns Superman Punch, 1,2,3 fans go home happy. Now, with Bryan back not really sure at all what they do. I think they turn Reigns by reuniting The Shield, which I think would be cool but I don;t think it would be dramatic enough for most.


I have watched ROH two weeks in a row though, Maria ,The Briscoe Brothers, Jay Lethal, tournaments left and right, that's all I need from a wrasslin' show

I agree with everything except Breeze gets Itami. Banks deserve the title and I think Charlotte gets called up very soon.

If Owens wins, it won't be for the title. No way they take it off SZ yet and give it to KO. I don't believe for a second they take it off Charlotte either. Their philosophy for the major titles seems to be to keep them in one spot for a long time (which goes back to the predictability I was talking about it).
