This finish isn't going over well on Twitter!
Not seeing it and based on how I heard it ended. They should have had Ambrose get the win and then have him attacked by Wyatt on RAW tomorrow night.
WWE refuses to close a storyline aanymore. That's the problem
That's my issue with WWE in a nutshell. That's why I wander away for weeks/months at a time.
With angles seeming to be indefinite, most stuff seems to be slapped together week to week. Most of the time it feels like they're just treading water.
I still think they'd do well to change the way they lay out some (not all) story arcs. Treat it like a TV show. Take some writers, give them a few weeks, and I have to think they could come up with a complete 6-9 month arc complete with weekly points to hit that gradually build up an angle (and with a set plan, it would hurt to take a week or 2 off here and there).
I realize they'd still need to run short duration stuff with a roster as deep as they have, I'd really love some more slow burn type stuff.
That's the usual plan, but I think they are so scared of injuries now that grey can't commit to this fully. They do have wide range plans, but because of injuries and whatnot, they are always having to change. Wyatt and Orton were both supposed to be turning face. The Orton turn still seems likely, but I'm not sure about Wyatt now. Will be interesting to see how they spin this Ambrose Wyatt feud.
It's crazy that just a couple of months ago, WWE was incredibly short on faces, now it's quickly turning to the opposite. Reigns and Barrett are both coming back soon and Barrett's angle was supposed to be heel, but the crowds (myself included) are eating him up. Who are going to be the heels other than Rollins and (rarely) Lesnar?
