Derek Dooley will and should be our coach at least one more year. I've made no bones about it on here that I thought firing CPF in mid-season was a mistake. Let's not make another mistake. Play the rest of the year out, we will win all of them, play a decent ACC team in the MCB, and get a win. Does any big time coach want to come in here next year and go on the road to Ala, Fla, and Oregon in their first year. I think it would set us back further to make the move now. One more year.

Sorry bro, I think we should hire a proven coach, let him get his staff together,and teach these kids how to play defense in 2013

I think you are right. We need to buy out Sal and get a good defensive coordinator (proven) and pay him big money to develop a solid defense. I think with a solid defense this year we only have 1 or 2 losses.

I agree Dooley will be the HC next year.

Sal will not be the DC next year.

Trash the 3-4 d and go back to a traditional but effective defense.

Yeah, I'm sure he will stay, athletic directors are smart and know a lot more about hiring coaches than we do, the realistic choice would let DD coach next season, if he gets to the SEC championship good, if not bye.

Loser mentality IMO.

Just think if Florida had kept Zook or Bama had kept Shula.

I've seen enough crappy football to know CDD is not the guy - do it now and end this misery.

Saban and the rest of the SEC laugh ...not at you...but at how players are becoming faster, bigger, and stronger...it only makes sense to have a 3-4 with how fast everyone is growing...

hell we might even see a 2-4-5 concept in 20 years.

He's gone this year, TN just can't afford to have this liability near the program anymore.

Why, so we can listen to Doolites blame next year's subpar season on having another coordinator?
