It's all 3....OL not great at giving much time, Dobbs not accurate throwing deep outside the hashes, WRs are absolutely awful at getting off press coverage and getting any real separation

true. at some point one might have to conclude we just are not very talented at those positions. not SEC talented perhaps.

100%. Anyone who watched Butch's pressers this week was reminded just how wedded he is to his system and how unlikely he is to change any aspect of it. On one hand it's admirable....one the other a little depressing.

Very depressing

Well, if he wants to keep his "dream job" for more than just a couple more years, he needs get over himself and his system. It may be the greatest, most genius invention in all of history, but if its not working (and it isn't looking great) it needs to be changed or at least analyzed and tweaked.
ANALYTICS! Lmao

Jimmy Hymans asked Butch about the depth chart this week. He asked about the WR starters and Butch responded "we don't have WR starters, just guys that get the first snap"

Are you sure he didn't say "we don't have WRs, we have wide blockers"

Its been discussed pretty heavily this week but do you think we will see the rotation slow way down today to give these guys a chance to get into a rhythm?

Ill hang up and listen

Have the receivers, QBs, or coaches been complaining about not being able to get into this "rhythm" that you speak of? Or, is this idea something fabricated, agreed with, and now accepted as the truth on Vol Nation?

I thought you were going to say he told jimmy...we don't have any depth or experience at wr, brick by brick, it's a process...
