is exactly what every sportscaster will be saying after week 2 when Tennessee shocks Oregon! And to that, I will say

"The Conductor!"

I've watch Tauren Poole run since highschool and coined the nickname then! His ability to control not just the defender in-front of him, but the entire defensive backfield brings an elegance to the gridiron that rivals that of a conductor controlling a symphony orchestra in a concert hall! As the season progresses I need everyone onboard to cheer him on as he becomes the next Vol star and validates the nickname! Just be sure to use it!

Does he run a 4.3...no
Does he weigh 235...no
Is he 6'0...no

So, what seperates him from even a "good college back"?
All the intangibles that matter!
1. Great vision and ability to view/control downfield traffic.
2. The body control and footwork maintained through the point of contact with a defender that gives him superior balance.
3. A work ethic that even Lance Armstrong would appreciate!
4. AND most important the mindset and willingness to be the Best!!!

I'd feel better if the offensive line had more than a combined handful of starts...

Our OL wasn't looking to hot going into last year and Hardesty did alright for himself

not gonna argue on the o-line point...I will just say that Poole's season will be good either way and only get better as that o-line becomes more experienced! From watching him at Stephens Co. I observed that he moves very early to setup his o-line blocks which will help with the inexperience.
