Wow. Have we been reduced to where even Clemson fans can talk down to us?

yeah here's what I can tell you ... He would never leave Clemson for Tennessee for the same gig. You would only get him if he got fired here, so that would beg the question, do you really want him?

He's not going anywhere unless we push him out the door, he's from Dillon, SC and taking that gig at tennessee is a major step down ... ACC champ to SEC doormat? think about it bro.

Um...hi. New guy here. Tennessee fan.

So... I think I might have an idea of what Steele is like. We've been looking for a new defensive coordinator, and talk in Volunteerland is that Steele is a candidate. Can you tell us anything else? Thanks.

:bad:

I still feel we're a way better program than Clemson. We have better tradition, better facilities, and a better fanbase. I hate when people have flash in the pan success and talk smack about storied programs who might have a couple of down years.

Clemson fans have been delusional for years and years. They are never really any good. They have a private school attitude too. I have no idea what the hell goes down there or why they are like that. It's mind boggling

Dealing with Clemson fans my entire life, I can tell you that they are one of the most delusional and idiotic fanbases in the country. That guy's dumb and uninformed comments aren't surprising in the slightest...

I live in SC and the Clemson fans are delusional. I had to listen to them blame it all on everything but them getting their butts kicked. Talk radio here has fans wanting him gone. Personally being at a Clemson game this year I don't want him.

SEC door mat, huh? That's fair...this year.

Congratulations Clemson, we had to hit an all-time low in our program before you could begin to start talking sh*t.

The ACC is 2-13 all time in BCS games. Winning the ACC is like winning Conference USA except with an automatic BCS birth

Why the hell do Tennessee fans think we are in such a better place than Clemson???? The last 2 ACC teams we played, (Clemson and Va Tech) beat us down. We've had 3 losing seasons in the last 5 years. The only thing people bring up about our program is history, tradition blah blah blah...So we were great in the 90's, we had Peyton Manning and Al Wilson....don't anyone start claiming we produced Arian Foster becuase 99% of this fan base hated Foster and couldn't wait for him to leave.

The ACC may suck but I'd rather win the ACC than finish last in the SEC East. I would say 90-95% of you live within 2 hours of Knoxville, as someone who doesn't it's pretty hard to stomach a program that has basically zero relevance on the national stage. Call me a negavol or tell me to go be a Clemson fan I don't care. Eventually some people will learn to take off the orange colored glasses and realize right now we're on par with Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss St etc etc...Until we're back to winning 9+ games on a regular basis we just need to face facts. GO VOLS

My Clemson friends agree that we have a better tradition and program than them, but they feel they are in a better place to win in the near future than us.

Its hard to disagree with that.

No, no they aren't. Clemson thinks they are actually a traditional and historical power house. They historically are not a traditional powerhouse. We suck right now, no doubt about it. Clemson is one of the most historically overrated, over hyped, and under achieving programs year in and year out.
