They went way out of their way to make sure they would make all our fans mad. Wonder if there is an sb writer for TN that will write an equally degrading piece about them after we win.

He criticizes our fans by saying we just drop f word for homosexuals ( I do not use that kind of language so will not use it here either), but he drops curse words and even the worst one imo.

One thing is for sure, this game will indicate how well the players have developed and can they keep the foot on the gas for the whole game. I've read enough articles on some of the freshman players, and all have generally said the same thing, it is a whole different world playing football in College vs. High School and development is the biggest difference in good and great teams. I look for UT to be the biggest, strongest, fastest and most physical team in the SEC........that is just me. The Strength and Conditioning for 2016 will be the tell-tell sign for Team 120.

I hope not. NW is not even worthy of such attention. They're a peon, we're a powerhouse...not concerned with their childish games trying to piss vol fans off with stuff like this and the sbnation article. Their program has a weak following, fans are snobby yankees, no real history in fb, and have never won anything worth noting so that's insult enough without us stooping to their level.

Vols just need to come out and take care of business so NW and their ignorant fans learn their place in the world of cfb...which is at the bottom along with Vandy, Purdue, UConn, etc.

It's the few that make the majority look bad. There are idiots at all schools. Taking a shot at the greatest QB that has played the game is pretty immature; but then, maybe they're still stinging that much from the time he whooped them in the bowl game. I'm sure Peyton has too much class to even think of them as a blip on the radar.

honestly I rarely ever pay attention to anything sb nation puts out. Imo they are very similar to sds.I would just like to see some form of "retaliation" in a more light hearted way. Not how that article did it.

I would characterize that video as a profane tirade by an over zealous fan. The creamsicle orange uniform dis really inspired me to vote Vols win by a lot. :crazy:

I spent a week on Northwestern's board. Was surprised to discover that they're really not all that bright, at least not the regulars on their boards. I thought they were supposed to be Purple Vandy, and I clearly felt the smug-elite vibe from some of them, but they're simply not bright enough to be Purple Vandy. Maybe more like Purple Mizzou or Purple Carolina.

BTW, if you missed this gem in the comment section, you missed the best part. It's in reference to the excuse-making excerpt from the former NW player about their loss to us in the 96 Citrus Bowl. This guy has a gift:
