Wow. Does the media ever hate Palin

She believes in the marriage and traditional home as well..

Good one.

I actually find her very sincere in her beliefs, please provide the proof that she is not, and can you actually explain why she is an idiot, or you just repeating the words of the obviously biased left wing reporters, comedians, and celebrities that hate her for her beliefs, you know those bastians of morality and wisdom. Some valid proof would be a great start to making a point.

I don't think she's an idiot at all. She quit her job while her administration was under ethics investigation (skate!) and left AK to cash in on her 15 mins. of fame (cha-ching!). She's not running for Pres. but will keep everyone guessing while she tours the country, cashing in on book signings and speeches. She will try to keep her base fired up enough until 2012 to be a power broker w/in the GOP, her ultimate goal. Dumb like fox I say.

lol....well, I will agree about SP's statement being less clear.

Agreed. The media's disdain for all things Palin results in these comic results, since they're more interested in lampooning her rather than doing any due diligence.

Because she says stupid **** like Paul Revere alerted the British on his ride.

Obviously he didn't alert the British that the British were there, but he did spend some time with them.

Two years ago I went to Boston and did all the tours. Highly recommend it, you learn of so many misconceptions. For example, many think Revere actually put the lanterns in the church to signal others. Plus, it wasn't he who got through and warned the revolutionaries, it was another guy, but Longfellow couldn't rhyme his name, so Revere gets the credit.

Revere got caught.

She's no Ronald Reagan . . . but that is exactly what they used to say about him. While I doubt her ability to do the job, I think it's a huge mistake to dismiss her following.
I don't dismiss her following, she's obviously representative of a large part of the Republican right. I'm not stating what I think about her, just conveying a common sentiment.

I don't think she's an idiot (definitely not the brightest bulb in government, either) by any real stretch, again, just conveying a common sentiment about her.

I liked the attacks over 1773 (the first tea party, she was right and the media was wrong) and now over Revere (media was wrong again).

Care to quote what Palin said and cite where it was correct?

I think the issue here is, and the sane among us can probably agree, is that she isn't dumb but she isn't very adept at taking the thoughts in her head and putting them out of her mouth cohesively or as she intended.

Yeah...it's quite obvious Palin misspoke there. Yes, Revere didn't make the full ride to Concord, but no, she was not commenting on any information he may have given up when she made that statement, IMO. It sounded like her usual confused blather.

Palin got into the Presidential race way too early. If she waited till she served a couple of terms of Governor of Alaska before throwing herself in a Presidential race as a VP she would have had a better career and been treated differently. People just dismiss her as being a pretty face.

Please, it happens more often than you think.

I think he was being facetious... at least I hope he was... damn.

I think all her little sayings make her sound simple and uneducated. I think she is doing herself a disfavor

Her little sayings are meant to impress the masses, not the precious percent of voters who actually think about who they're voting for. She's no fool, but she's no obelisk of brilliance either.

The fact is Palin is not POTUS material.

BUT ... nobody leading or currently holding the spot is either.

I think the right clings to her because she atleast speaks her mind and doesn't consider what is PC before speaking.

This is the same reason Trump could win. People, all sides, want someone who actually says what everyone is thinking and isn't always trying to cover the butt.

On an honest note though, this little blunder is nothing compared to our POTUS blunder with Israel recently. At least Paul Revere isn't going to go on global tv and tell Palin she's a dumbazz to her face and needs to learn something about the subject before talking about it.

Israel Bissel did more than Paul Revere ever dreamed of doing.
He rode over 4 days for a distance of 345 miles. Revere rode less than 20 miles. History is fickle.

I loathe Palin, but she simply misspoke. Not a major issue, IMO.
