Someone called in on the Eric Ainge show this morning and said Bray's completion % against non-conference teams was 70 something, but only 30 something against conference opponents. Said he got the stats directly from the UT website, if anyone wants to check for themselves.

2012
UF 50%

2011
UF 54%
UGA 54%
Vandy 48%
UK 40%

2010
SCe 60%
Ole Miss 53%
Vandy 59%
UK 52%

vs. ACC
NCSU 66%
UNC 60%

vs. Other Bowl Teams
Cincy 83%

Ever or just this year. Of course we've only had 1 this year and I thought he was better than 30%. I wouldve guessed he's about 50% against sec teams and 70% against ooc teams. Have to question that guys stats
He did not specify whether it was this year, his career or what, just said he got the stats directly from the UT website. Of course their are many here already selecting just one or two conference games to try and prove a point instead of using all games like the caller said he did. Surprise surprise....

It means get your head outta your ass and check for yourself if you want, instead of being a prick to people who chose to pass along information, others might find interesting. Any more questions jerk off?

So if someone starts a thread saying that they overheard an elevator conversation where some guy said that Tyler Bray has more interceptions than TDs for his career, you are going to get mad when people call you out on being stupid? Listing a statistic that doesn't even sound like it could possibly be correct, creating a thread about it telling others to fact check it, then getting pissy when people do. This is a little bit silly.

Welp.

Bray was a combined 54.5% against UGA and UF last year and was 50% against Florida this year. Not great numbers but they are a fair bit away from the 30% that the slackjaw reported. Bray also got hit for the 4 or 5 drops that he had actually thrown well.

With that said, there are plenty of legit facts to use to criticize this team. We don't need to start spewing out false information.

Well maybe we should run the ball then, haha! :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

The way you posted it, I thought we were talking this year only. If you are talking career........well, it is still wrong. Ok, actually the guy calling the radio was wrong. So you are the guy repeating the wrong info.

Let's look at it another way. Since the conference teams are better than the non-conference teams, shouldn't we expect his completion % to be lower against the better competiton?

on a conf call so I have time.

If my math is right he's 173/326 in passing vs SEC opponents over his career. Pretty sure that's greater than 30% but I'll let you decide.

still find it interesting?

don't come in here and confuse a crazy emotion with facts - what the &%$# kind of place do you think this is - this is the football forum!

I have a question jerk off. If Bray was completing 30% of his passes during sec play do you think he would still be the starting QB? If you knew anything about football you would have known that was some BS from that caller and then you wouldn't have started this thread. However, you just throw this out there and make yourself look stupid. good job.
