Well, guys, I've always kind of thought of the Vols as a "home" team to me. I mean, I was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, and all that good stuff, so I've always thought of the Vols as a "home" team. Though, that's not the real reason why I'm attracted to them so much. More because my Dad liked them a little bit, but it could be a mix of that reason, and the fact that I was born there.

However, I live in Virginia, and have been a Virginia Tech fan all of my life. I've kind of following both teams through the years, but I've always been more of a VT fan. Now, I'm wanting to establish myself as more of a Vols "fan" that I was before.

Would you welcome aboard myself as a new "Vols" fan?

Thanks guys.

I hope I learn more about the Vols here, and more of their history. Eventually, and maybe, I'll become a die-hard Tennessee Volunteers fan.

Lol. Well, I'm trying to like both, since some of my family is for Tennessee, and the majority for VT. Though, I want to rep my "true" colors.

However, I don't think this "two-team" thing is going to work. I've tried it in Football, by liking the Dolphins (who my Dad liked), and it never worked that well so I'm primarily a Rams fan, and still cheer for the Phins when my Rams aren't in tact to the playoffs, or contending towards doing so.

Anyhow, that's irrelevant. I think that right now, I'm slowly turning into a Vols lover. It's true, my friends.

As a fellow Virginian stuck right smack dab in the middle of both teams, I say welcome aboard the Big Orange Bandwagon.

I'm 100% all Vol, but I'm partial to the Hokies as a second team. My mother is a Vol and my Dad is a Hokie, but my Dad knows where my loyalties would lie if they had to play each other..

So I kind of know where you're coming from, but there has never been a doubt about which team I favor. Vols all the way.

That's pretty cool to hear. I've never really noticed til yesterday of how big of a Vans fan I am/how big of a fan I can be, when I was looking through my closet and found an old #16 Peyton Manning, Tennessee jersey that my cousin had wore when he went to college there.

The Hokies hurt me last night. Gahh, I thought VT's offense would have mustered more than three points off of Boston College, who's 106th in the nation (or was) going into the game.

Right now, I'm leaning heavily towards the Vols.
