A friend of mine has tried to get me to sit with him in the luxury boxes, but I hate 'em. I would much rather we "out with the crowd." The luxury boxes feel like you're watching from your living room...

Would you want to sit in them? What do you think are the best seats in Neyland (other than the 50 yard line 30 rows up)?

I haven't checked your profile, but I'm going to guess you are under the age of 25.

Luxury box: Yes. free booze and food are for me.

air conditioning in Sept and early Oct......yes for me.

being able to sit down w/out my elbow being jammed in to bubba's gut next to me......yes.

and i'm almost positive the bathrooms are better in the box than down in the caverns......

Yea, if you put it that way. I guess I would sit there.

:eek:lol: yes, as fond as i am of my memories in the student section being crammed like sardines and not caring what the hell was going on, i'm equally as fond of the fact that i've out grown that and are much happier with the "creature comforts" things like luxury boxes afford.

it's the same now when we are out on the weekend, i pass by a bar that is packed, and now "it's too crowded, let's try some place else" vs. 10 years ago, where you pass by the quite corner bar that's empty and "this place is dead, let's go find a club".

life is good that way.

Sometimes I like the comfort. Sometimes I like being in the crowd. Most of the time I chose comfort these days.

depends.......you married and/or have kids? if not, then yes.:)

I will be married soon. I just like low-key places where people aren't bumping into you all night and you have to yell to talk to people.

I guarantee anyone would enjoy the luxury boxes. I've only had that pleasure once, but I definitely haven't forgotten it.

i've had the pleasure of going to a couple of Panther games in Charlotte in the club and luxury boxes, very nice. I've also been able to attend several races at Daytona and Charlotte in their suites, not quite as nice, but much, much better than sitting in the stands.......best way to go to a race imo, esp a day race in the summer.......nice and comfy.

been to the luxury boxes at PNC park for a pirates game, also very, very nice.....probably the nicest ones i've been to...

and club level at Heinz Feild isn't too shabby either.:)

Let's be honest. Neyland is a charming place with great atmosphere and energy . . . but it is one of the 2 or 3 most uncomfortable places to watch a game that I've ever been.

I saw last year's LSU game from the boxes. The elevator up and down is what I appreciated the most. The down side was that I wore my prescription sunglasses to the game, and had to leave them on to see. I am sure everyone was wondering what the blind guy was doing in their luxury box.

I think I'm just now growing into my luxury box phase. I've always loved the student section, but it wore on me last season.
