Yeeeeeeees we are stupid if we wouldn’t . People get too emotional about it crying like a girl broke up with you and you have principles . I want to win I’m not worried about my feelings being hurt , by now I think Lane has matured enough and to be honest we are prol his dream job now which says a lot considering where our program is at
Lane has had HC success at one school (Florida Atlantic). Not a stellar HC record and don’t forget he was met at the plane at USC. What a humiliating experience that must have been for him.

Lets give Pruitt an extension then fire him, hire kiffin, give Kiffin a 500k buyout if he chooses to leave, and then watch him bail in the dead of night for Bama when saban retires in 3 years and they hire him.

At least Kiffin is fun to talk about, he made UT football interesting again for a while. Make it a package deal with Layla and Knox and call it a day.

No way it would happen but yes I would take him and help him pick out a new Lexus. I'm afraid we could never compete with the perks on that campus. Neither can either other SEC team.

65-38 record
Power 5 experience
Would have pac 10 title except sanctions...

Who out there can match or beat that????
Freeze??? Who else

Get over the hutt hurt of him leaving for his dream job...Kiffin can coach and win at Tennessee

I'd take Kiffin as long as we fired Fulmer first and hired an actual Athletic Director.

When Fulmer formally retires in a couple of years, our next AD will be Mark Ingram now AD at UAB...played football at UT, served on the AD staff for 5 years, became the AD at Temple and then was hired by UAB. UAB discontinued football for a couple of years. Ingram had to totally re-establish a football program again. He will be the next AD at UT.

Never heard of the man until today, but that sounds fantastic.

1) In a heartbeat.

2) Kiffin has what he needs at Ole Miss to beat Saban - with less pressure to do so. We have no leverage to bring him here.

3) so... it's just not a thing. That ship sailed last year.

Kiffin would come to ut in a heart beat, and I would love to have him, but I don't think that will happen.
