Nor can you overlook the one that let a wounded raccoon Arkansas team march down the field all night. If Arky hadn't self destructed 3 times, they would have beat us by three touchdowns.

Yeah Arkansas self destructed by allowing Tennessee to pressure the QB causing fumbles and Arkansas allowed our safety to hit stick their running back to cause a fumble.

Tennessee fans are so dumb sometimes.

You can’t point to one fumble yesterday that Arkansas self destructed on that just fell into our lap

So then explain to me how they seemingly drove the ball down the field with the ease they did. Yes we caused turnovers, but they were miracles. 7 of 13 3rd down conversions and 1 of 2 FOURTH down conversions. And I don't think any of them were 1 yard chip shots. Granted Arky was a bit of an unknown and maybe a bit of a trap game for us, but if Gump runs that same gameplan next week, it is gonna be embarrassing.

Because while ass at times, our defensive line beat their matchup and got to the QB and hit the ball causing a fumble.

And while ass at times, our safeties didn’t have a deep field to cover so they could come up and make a play on a running back.

The dumbest thing ever is you and other fans acting like league leading in sacks and T2 for forcing turnovers is all from the opponent “self destructing”.

Getting gashed like we did for the majority of the game and hitting a couple of home runs is not a championship caliber defense. You like throwing out that everyone that doesn't agree with you is 'dumb', but you are asleep if you think this is a championship defense in any respect. Let's see how many sacks we get against the defenses that are coming up. If we continue the rate, I will gladly.... happily eat crow, but I am not worried about having to go buy any Tabasco after what I watched last night

No I am fine with a difference of opinion on things. I’m calling you dumb for thinking that the opponents having turnovers from pressures and hard hits is somehow caused by their failures and not our successes.

The same defense that has been ran all over in the last 2 games has also caused 5 turnovers that were house call touchdowns and 11 sacks.

But sure, all of those 16 plays where our defense benefitted were solely because Miss State and Arkansas self destructed

Why would we get sacks against defenses? It’s impossible for a defense to sack another defense.

Also, show me where I said our defense was championship caliber? More inventing things out of thin air. You must be a casual fan.

Have you watched us play this year? We scored 38 points in a total of roughly 12 1/2 minutes against Georgia when just looking at our scoring drives. For the year, we average 49.2 ppg on an average of 25:10 TOP, which equals 1.955 points per minute of game time. At that rate, we would score 38 points if we had the ball for 19:30 against Bama.

I don’t care about season averages. I care about conference averages. We average 38 on offense and Bama averages 17 on defense. Something will have to break there.

I agree with you. I was responding to the thought that Bama would keep the ball away from us, causing us to not score more than 24 points.

And, actually, we average 38.66 per conference game and Bama averages allowing 19.66 per conference game.
