With a good coaching salary and chance to rebuild the program is a good option to have. I would do it.

If your a Defense Cord. or a Offense Cord or just a coach or RBs. Would you pack up your family and move to Tennessee? Alot of people on here does not think Dooley will be here after one more year. So they might get to coach one year at Tennessee. I think that is going to be hard to find a good coach.

Of course. It is a GREAT opportunity to make a big name for yourself if it turns around. If Dooley is gone in a year then it cannot be laid at the feet of a brand new coach.

Same situation as Clawson. He was not blamed... he was hired by a respectable mid major program as HC which would STILL be considered a step up from FCS Richmond.

I can't remember where all of those guys went but Chavis seems to have done OK for himself.
