If your a Defense Cord. or a Offense Cord or just a coach or RBs. Would you pack up your family and move to Tennessee? Alot of people on here does not think Dooley will be here after one more year. So they might get to coach one year at Tennessee. I think that is going to be hard to find a good coach.

If you were offered $100k-200k/year more, would you?

This is the coaching profession. These cats were made to move. Yes, with no further information available.

I'm not a grammar nazi, but this was hard to take seriously. Inebriated?

I would take a pay cut to move to East Tennessee and coach for one year at UT, but I am biased.

There are always coaches available for one reason or another. HC gets canned, assistants need a place to go as well. Some assistants are trying to work their way up and might come from a lower tier school. Maybe a coach at Louisville wants to hit the SEC. Something like that.

All kinds of reasons for a high quality coach to end up at UT, even if he thinks it is temporary.

I'd pack up and move to Fargo, ND for $100K-$200K more per year!

What a stupid question. Dooley is here, and is gonna be here. East Tennessee is beautiful and a great place to raise a family. The Vols have decades of tradition in the SEC. Come on down.

If I were a coach, I would move in a second. You can always rent for a year and see how it goes. Maybe UT has a great year and you found a job for 20 years. There are no guarantees in coaching and most coaches expect to move around. No different than any other profession.

I'd have to be hurting to come here as an assistant. Now the head coach position is different. Money talks and it's usually a substantial amount!

There's a difference between rumors on a message board and Hart picking-up the phone and fully explaining the situation to the coaches. I'm sure he wants Dooley to succeed and is willing to say that to any potential coach.
