you cant leave the traditional orange and white because tennessee is all about tradition. But alot of teams are going with black as an alternate color instead of white and that wouldnt be bad.

the Big East logo doesn't appear on the full shot, so maybe that image is caused by an inattentive web nerd somewhere.

as far as the colors go, the Uniform doesn't make the man.

I personally don't have a preference, but I know kids love wearing black uniforms. Crews even said that he was praying that we would get them. It could help recruiting.

As far as tradition goes, our basketball program doesn't really have much, so why not make some new traditions? It's not like they're going to just switch to black jerseys all the time. It would be a once or twice a year deal most likely.
