If it were you at the Pilot being held up, knowing it was Nuke and JJ would you have called the police? I love this program way too much, so I dont think I would. I cant be the only one that feels this way....

To be honest, I probably wouldn't. I have thought about this a few times since I heard the story break and I know I wouldn't

You got to call the cops. You aren't doing the kids a favor because this kind of behavior tends to escalate. If they don't get caught now, they get caught later with a more serious crime. Or maybe they pull that stunt on someone who's strapped with some real heat.

The people working at the Pilot called the cops, so the victims would probably agree with you.

anyone points a fairly realistic gun at my face...I'll call the cops when it's safe.

As a previous poster noted, this type of behavior tends to escalate until someone intervenes and stops it.

If I were sitting there with two guys aiming what looked like a pistol at me, they'd be lucky if I didn't pull one out myself and blast at least one of them into the afterlife.

With what seems like a spike in pellet gun-related crap over the last few years, I can't believe that reaction hasn't happened more.

PhillyVol r u from the real philly or philadelphia tennessee? The victims supposidley didn't even know it was Nuke and all but thats not what you asked. I really would have called the cops though I mean I'm a huge UT fan but there is no way I would have let that go. They don't deserve to be representing the Vols or the University doin stupid sh*t like that. I still think there is way more to this story tho that will never come out.

Are you kidding? Of course you call the cops! Why would you not? They committed a criminal act. What does it say about priorities when someone thinks playing ball is more important than having some scruples? Kiffin did the right thing in letting them go, BTW - they are heading for trouble...they got their shot to make something of themselves and they blew it off by being stupid. They can be stupid somewhere else.

I can't believe that there are people that would not call the cops on these idiots b/c they play football at UT. Good gosh some people can rationalize anything.

If there is someone outside of a store pointing a gun at someone and it looks like a real gun, I would call the cops. If someone pointed a gun at me I would also call the cops.

What if you were in the shoes of the people working inside, the ones that called the cops. Would you still not call the cops if you saw them pointing their guns at someone?

For real. Reminds me of Snatch, where the guys with replicas try to rob that one dude with the Desert Eagle. "You know why you're scared? Because your guns say replica down the side, and mine says Desert Eagle .50"

Also, if someone ever pulls a pellet gun on me, I'm gonna beg them to pull the trigger so I'll be justified in beating the ever-living hell out of them.

With the knowledge I have now (pellet gun, players involved, probably not that interested in actually robbing me) no. But in the moment, you better believe it.

Those guys are lucky that the guys they held up weren't packing.
