Peterson won't leave BSU. They provide special accomodations for his son with autism. It would have to be a pretty big pull for any school to get Peterson out of Boise.
After that he is 24-14, with 3 years of going to bowl games and in his third year turning his team into a 10-2 team. Better than Dooley ended up. I think he will do better than Dooley but I would prefer that the Vols dont jump the gun and hire the first coach that says ok. I feel record wise that a hasty decision to hire Strong without laying offers to other qualified coaches would be a mistake.
If it is Strong I hope he comes in and turns things around and makes me eat my own words.
