Would you be happy at 7-5 this year?

Curious to see if the fan base here would be satisfied with a 7-5 record in year 2.

I think that is the most likely scenario for this year and in my opinion that would suffice for a good year considering the lack of depth and experience on this team. However, I would also expect us to be close in all our losses and not have any blowouts.

7-5 would be progress. Would obviously prefer 8-4, but wouldn't be heartbroken at 7-5 unless we looked really bad in the losses.

I wouldn't be happy, no. I can see UT going 7-5 this year before the bowl game though

Likely 7-5? Yes. Happy or satisfied with it? No. Need to see 8 wins this year (inclusive of bowl win) to get on board with CDD. No reason we couldn't have had 8 wins last year, so why should we settle for less this year?

Needs to be better than 7-5 but very, very young. 8-4 better, 9-3 I would think awesome. 7-5 is likely and I hate to say maybe 6-6. 6-6 would be a major let down!!!!!!!!!!!! Dooley for his sake needs 8-4 at least badly.

I would be happy with 7-5 with a bowl win. This would be a tough schedule whether or not Tennessee was up or down. LSU, Arkansas, and Alabama is a tough draw from the west.

I think 7-5 is reasonable expectation. Is it a record to be satisfied with normally, no, not at UT. I think 7-5 is progress due to our current situation.

I agree, many people forget who we are playing this year and many of these tough games are on the road. 8-4 would be a terrific coaching job by Dooley.
