sadly, what i see likely happening is chavis will get much of the blame at the end of the year and will either be forced out or 'resign'. fulmer will be allowed to stay at least another year and hire new defensive guys. the questions i have are: how much control did sanders ever really have? how much does Cut have now? and.....................how long can you point the finger the other way??????

Yeah, Cutcliffe lined up some real stars to succeed Eli at Ole Miss.
Please quit using the Manning thing. Both Mannings would still have been great QB's no matter who coached them. They were breed and trained by their father. Heck, I think Peyton is the most dedicated football player I have ever seen. Despite his success, he will work as hard this year as he did his first. It's called discipline, something installed from his early years by his family.:mf_surrender::mf_surrender::mf_surrender:

Hat, I know you do not use this, but it was the easiest quote to copy. I am refering to the people that do use this as an indication of Cutcliffe's abilities. God, if you cannot coach a Manning, hang it up.:shhh:

So you still support GW Bush?

I still support President Bush. I could argue politics with you all day long (and Hat, and...) but Im sick of that, time will tell and if Hillary or Obama end up in the White House you will see, you may never admit to it, but you will wish George Bush was still there...anyway, back to Fulmer. In my opinion, he will make changes in his assistants to try to save himself, and it may work for a while. I like Fulmer, he has done alot for Tennessee, but unless he can somehow get this team to win out, I think its time to make a change. A new HC would come in and assemble his own staff, probably with some current assistants, and some would probably be let go, and thats probably what needs to happen.

The fact that Cut coached the Manning's does not discredit his ability as a QB coach. Peyton has praised his ability as a QB coach on mulitple occasions. Ainge's turn around has been very dramatic and is a direct result of Cut's ability as a QB coach.

That's ridiculous to not give Cutcliffe at least some credit for the Manning's success. They probably would have been great QBs under any QB coach, but I bet you could say that about half the QBs starting the NFL today. And the fact is, they weren't coached by just any QB coach, they were coached by David Cutcliffe. That's something a recruit's going to see and want to be coached by him too.

Put it this way.....if Peyton had played for Mr. Spurrier...he wins at least one national title...possibly two...and wins at least one Heisman....possibly two. If Spurrier can do what he did with Wuerffel..imagine what Florida would have been with Manning. I dont see it like most....I dont look at what Cut and Fulmer did for Manning....I look at what they took away from him.
