i think it's safe to say we'd all rather go to a ut game than any wedding for anyone!!!!!!

maybe even our own???? that's why when we got married, it was in the summer..........

I have already told the girlfriend that if we get married on down the road I hope she is happy with a Spring or Summer wedding. Also, I think as UT fans it is our civic duty to "get our freak on" at the beginning of football season when we are planning on having kids so that they won't be due any time during football season.:p

i had a good friend get married the day of the ut-florida game when it poured buckets all day and clausen had like 7 fumbles. While I had full permission of the bride to be at the game instead, I always felt it was some kind of weird karma telling me i should've went to the wedding. a good friend went to the wedding and was allowed to wear speakers so he could listen to the game.

Most of the fall weddinggs that I have attended in recent memory, the people were smart/considerate enough to have a TV or two at their reception.

They wouldn't have been a good friend when I found out he was getting married the day of the UF/UT game.

1. Vols in SEC championship game.
2. Vols in the Elite Eight.
3. Colts/Pats if it's a playoff game. If it's a regular season game, then I'd take Vols/Fla.
4. Spend a day with my fav. athlete.

*If there were ever a chance to see the Vols in the Final Four, I would take that over any of these. Hopefully that opportunity will come along. :crossfingers:

Vols all the way for me! Well, wait, except for #4. I wouldn't want to run through the T since I'm not a player, coach or cheerleader (or a dog!) - afraid I would look like such a wannabe (a la Thornton) - guess I would rather spend the day with Peyton (and talk UT football)!

You shouldn't say Colts in super bowl, you should say favorite team. That is a completely different argument. I would see the Titans in the super bowl over any of those on the list.

C'mon man if you're a UT fan then the Colts HAVE to be your favorite team. Right? Right? At least that's the way it is around Knoxville.......

I like Peyton, and I want him to get this win in the super bow, but lets face it, I don't even remember him taking a snap at UT.

Why the Colts in everything??? We have a team called the Titans that is the hometown team....just because Peyton plays for them doesn't make them cool. They are the enemy. Peyton is the enemy till he retires then he's cool again.

I didn't become a colts fan just because Manning became their QB. The quesion is moot.
