Forever im going to intertwine the 2,Ainge & Schaeffer together but the real question I wonder is what if Schaeffer were to start all 4 years

Im not saying we would've did better or worse but I think we could've used a spread offense with Schaeffer that could've been good for a speedback like Coker and we could then change the pace with Foster as our powerback.

Schaeffer wasnt the greatest QB but who knows how he could've developed like Ainge did under Cutcliffe from having small games as a Freshman and basically taking baby steps to having 300 yard games as a JR and SR.

edit:If Schaeffer didnt get in trouble at Tenn.

Before you start on him being mediocre at Ole Miss,let me inform you that he was at Ole Miss.:ermm:
Everything has been trash at Ole Miss since their 2003 season

Do you think things would have been different if Scaeffer started and Ainge was the one to transfer

We would not have run the spread with Scheaffer.

There is no way that he could have gone 4 years without getting in trouble - the guy was/is just as arrogant as Periloux - you can see where it got both of them... in a lot of trouble and not acheiving what the said they would (4-heisman's, come on!)... Plus, like stated before... do you actually think UT would have run the spread???

Ainge was by far the better QB, he just never got really comfortable back there.

OTE=Reegan;1119318]Now you're basically comparing Ainge to Manning.[/QUOTE]

:eek:lol: I was going to give this thread the amount of attention it deserved-zero, but I gave in to temptation.
We may have done as well as Miss.
