I was a huge Charlotte Hornets fan. I still own a purple Glen Rice Hornets jersey from back in the day. Since they left for New Orleans I have gradually lost interest every season. On top of that, this New Orleans team has gotten a new owner and with that, there have been rumors surfacing of a name change to give the team a more New Orleans flavor.

So I ask you all this, would dropping the Hornets as my favorite team make me a bandwagon fan?

Not at all. They're not your team any more. Contrary to what some say, geography does matter.

New team + new owner + new city = different franchise. No problem here.

One vote for making Utah give back the jazz name to nawlins. All in favor say aye.

According to rule #19, you're no longer under obligation to support them.

I was a big Hornets fan when they were in Charlotte. Rex Chapman was the man! When they left Charlotte, I kind of gave up on NBA basketball. I JUST decided to start following the Bobcats. Their playoff appearance and recent FO move made me think that they may be on to something now.

I was a huge Packers fan when I was a kid but I'm not now. So I say why would you be.
