Would love to hear Dave Hart's true thoughts on the coaching situation without the spin. You can see he is visibly disgusted. What would ya'll guess he is seriously planning in reguards to Dooley? No pipe dream stuff.

just fire him soon, we are losing our fanbase, in the fourth quarter last night the stadium was filled with crimson and silver(silver being exposed bleachers) this isnt getting better until we can move on from dooley. the players are visibly disgusted with each other, like last nights patterson rant about bray, and our coaches have no clue on how to right the ship.

I hope Hart does not hire Kirby ( the vacuum cleaner) Smart. We do not need an assistant getting promoted to his first head coaching job.
We need a proven winner.

He would say that dooley is a zombie and that he is a cancer to the team. I look at dooley and them team and see nothing but disgust and discontent in their eyes.

Those conversations are expensive. There's a reason you're screaming into the void that is a free message board on the internet.

I really like Dooley (no homo). Nice guy, well educated, intelligent, beautiful family, great hair.

Unfortunately, he's not a leader, he's an egomaniac. Lemme splain.

Because he's not a leader, he tries to use a "system" that he has seen be successful, the Saban system. Unfortunately, that system works because of Saban, it's not some generic coaching theory that can be applied in any given situation. Dooley refers to it as "the process"

Dooley still has to have way too much of what is happening with the program revolve around him because he needs the control. This is demeaning to those who work for him and to the players. He doesn't have the ability to inspire his team to achieve a level of success greater than where they presently are.

He's not a leader, he's a manager. I can totally see why Saban would want him as his recruiting coordinator.

Note: I've been a Dooley homer for a while now, but these facts, and items I've put in other posts, simply cannot be ignored any longer. We desperately need Haslam, Thornton, Manning, or someone to put up the cash for someone who can take the meager foundation the Dooley has built (and he has) and take our players and our program to the next level. God bless Dooley, he'll be a great color commentator on ESPN calling games in a few years.

Haha no screaming here. I guess if not one on one maybe a fly on the wall in his office while he is talking to someone he talks to about that stuff.

If he makes a change he better bring in someone that has some experience. Someone who will unite this fanbase & get people excited about UT football again.

Kirby Smart is not that guy.

I have heard a lot of the aligations of Dooley being a control freak. Do you have a source on that ? Or just going off the same stories we've all heard?

IF, Hart hires Kirby Smart at say 2 million/year as that would be about double his current salary would fans be more likely to accept it if it were known Smart had a million dollars for EACH of his OC/DC to go out and hire a couple of the top coordinators in football? This, is how I see things possibly going. Very few coordinators make a million a year. Great OC/DC's can make a guy new to being a HC look very very good.

Sal will keep the DC title but Kirby will have his hands all up in there. Not sure what he will do with the offense?
