Would Jimmy Johnson be welcome as next UT coach?

I just heard him talking on Mike and Mike in the morning. He said the difference between college and pro football coaching is coaching in the NFL you have no family life.He said he would see his wife (not in her pajama's) one day a week. This is the reason he left the NFL because it was too demanding. In contrast to that, he said a college football coach has a life outside of coaching. This said I think he would entertain the idea of getting back into college coaching. I know he and Majors having coaching ties. Question is would he be interested in the UT coaching job and would you welcome him? I would welcome him.Thoughts?

COULD NOT AFFORD HIM ANYWAY.

I do not think he would be interested in the Tennessee job. Why would he get back into it at UT? I think we need a young, up and coming coach- like an Urban Meyer - haha

other ties to the university include, sharing the same hair stylist with pat ryan and the same weed supplier with major wingate and lemarcus coker.

Knoxville has a nice stock of hair stylists and the latest supply of hair gel. Mix that with $4 mil, and Jimmy would be interested.

I think we probably could...

Not with what he has made with TV contracts and etc. Coaching is work and I do not see him sweating or worrying anymore about meals on the table. What's more he does not want to mess his hair up.

I hated Jimmy until he owned the NFL with Dallas and got shafted by Jerry Jones. If Fulmer retired and Dale Jones, Peyton Manning, or Tee Martin were unavailable and he would coach here 10 years then I would be for it. He is too old though.

He had a great run, left too early imo. Good for him.

You're joking right? What makes you think ANY of them could be a head coach. Well, Peyton might could, but he isn't going to want to coach after he retires.

Jimmy Johnson FORGOT more about coaching than any of them.
