I know I'm a southerner, but, I wonder just how he would be received recruiting in the deep south. I could see discomfort on both side of the sofa. I don't know, he may be from "down here", but I doubt it.

Also...................CJP needs time to get his QB on campus.

With that being said.............If he doesn't work out...............GO GET Will Healy from Charlotte. He is a star.

I don't want my wife thinking about her next husband while we're still married, and I don't want to think about our next coach while we still have one. Fleck has done well, but Fleck was a head coach before. Pruitt is our coach. Just support our coach and our team. There are plenty of good coaches out there, and I want to believe we have one of them.
Everybody fantasizes about a different or hotter spouse every now and then. Doesnt necessarily mean theyre planning a divorce. Same with coaches.

I’m not calling for CJPs head yet.But watching Minnesota play, I’m just thinking Fleck might be someone to keep on our radar.
i know the “row the boat” thing is corny, but he can coach.
The media has hyped Fleck, had one good win against PSU last year. Currently 0-2 on the season. He is 23-17 overall while at Minnesota. JP is currently 15-15, granted Fleck has one more year at a big name school than JP, but from a statistic standpoint, they look about the same. I don't think Fleck would do well in the SEC. To note, Fleck rose to fame from the same conference as Lyle Jones.

Coastal Carolina is whipping mighty GA State 27-0 in the second! Maybe we should fire Pruitt and hire their coach.

NO, thank you...well maybe as an OC.
But definitely not as head guy.

I will be surprised if Minnesota ends the year better than .500 and that's in the weaker of the B1G divisions too.

Winning double digit games at Minnesota is not easy, he’s better than Forrest Gump. Probably could get UT to 8-9 wins a year
You guys need to lay off the Pruitt bashing! You can actually find some similarities in Pruitt and the great General Neyland. Both were hired to beat Vandy.
GBO!!

If JP doesn’t make it the first second and third option should be Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell! HEs built freaking UC into. Powerhouse

You’re seriously comparing Jerome to Neyland? LMAOOOOOOOOOO
C’mon Smartvol, you’re smarter than that. It was actually a shot at the state of our program in that we strive to just beat vandy nowadays. It was a joke.
GBO!!

What makes you think he’d even take it ? I know it’s hypothetical question, but last three hires have not been the intended target let alone the second or even third choice.
