I remember a former cheerleader, reggie?, used to show up at local watering holes and do it.. especially with tall paul :eek:lol::eek:lol:

I go to BWW. Phi Mu Alpha (the music fraternity) just made him an honorary Brother. On top of his music, he's a great guy.

I think they approached the reading of Neyland's Maxims in the wrong way.

The way you do something like that is to spread the Maxims out over all of the home games in a season, and you back it up with something exciting enough to counter the person reading. UT has 8 home games this year, and there are 7 Maxims. I would have a former player (or maybe a student) go out and read one Maxim and then show highlights on the Jumbotron of past game footage that exemplifies that Maxim.

Example: Former player reads: "Maxim number 2 - Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE"

Then the Jumbotron shows footage of Berry returning an interception for a TD, another past player recovering a fumble for a TD, etc.

It would be a way to get the Maxims in while still getting the crowd excited.
