Worst Team all around I have seen since Dooley

OL = Really Bad. No push at all
WR= Not Good
QB= Sucks. And is a Senior WTF
OFF Cood= Play Calling looked like Fulmer Days

DL= Getting Blown off the Ball. Could not get off Tackles
LB=Getting blocked out by OL
Safety = I saw TK standing around not tackling
Corner=playing WR good but not playing the run at all
Def Cood= Worse Defense put on the field since Sunseri

HC=Worst job Coach Jones has done since coming to UT

And it chaps my ass to see Coach Jones just clap his hands when a player is not playing well or does something wrong or misses an assignment. He just claps his hands like a cheerleader. I prefer the Saban approach of chewing arse!

And finally, this is what you get when you practice like you are afraid someone will get hurt! The old coaches had it right and it don't take an expert to realize they looked like they are afraid to hit someone with no toughness. I would much rather have a coach that made practice tough as hell. Bear Bryant used to make practice so hard he barely could field a team. But those were the toughest group of players any other team faced.

I would bet a dollar to a doughnut, that if your boss got all in your ass in front of all your co-workers, you would be the first to go crying and sulking around. You don't blast these kids in front of everyone when they make a mistake. That motivation does not work for anyone.

Appalachian State averaged 271.5 rushing yards per game last season, which ranked second best in the Sun Belt and sixth best in the country, with a Oline that ranked 3rd nationally.
Appalachian State ranked first in the nation in redzone defense last season, allowing teams to score only 63.6 percent of the time.
The Mountaineers allowed only 10 touchdown passes last season, which tied for the fifth fewest scores in the nation through the air.
With a rushing attack that ranked 6th in the nation and defense that ranked 11th in the nation last year, that was one quality opponent that we beat last night.

I love how some want to act like App state was this quality opponent now. We were 20 point favorites for a reason people.

I'm not going to act like they are some power house, but they are a top 50 team. That's still not a good enough of an excuse to play the way we did though.

This was a low blow man and classless. It was a terrible throw but classless that you'd say that about Inky.

Absolutely. Bullshhhh to make a wise crack about a guy who had his career cut short. Dude would have been playing on Sundays had it not happened and he holds no ill will and is an all around great guy. Inky jokes are off limits in my opinion.

Seeing your assessment of our D tells me all I need to know about your ability to process football. Those observations are way off base and - no offense - ignorant.

They only allowed 2 scores! One off a short field from a muffed punt and another on wheel route that had a little Lady Luck attached. Then, they push on the final drive and take FG off the table in regulation. Finally, they force 4 and out in OT to win the game.

Be pissed if you want, but getting on the D is just odd.

Two bama references by the OP. Maybe you're pulling for the wrong team since you "prefer the saban approach." My personal opinion is a win is a win. Also, screw saban, screw bear bryant and screw bama.

Bless your heart.

Im as negative as they come, but the sky isn't falling.

No kidding. In 96 we lost to Memphis and barely beat Vandy. (That was a 10-2 team with Peyton Manning). It is football and that is why they play the games.
