For the second time, he fell ass backwards into a better QB than the one he wanted here.

We lost 4 games, 3 at home, I feel like two of them were to less talented teams.

There were a lot of bizzare decisions this year...declining a penalty in FG range, odd play calls, etc.

This is a pivotal point for Josh, he's half a decade into his tenure and took a solid step backwards this year.

We'll see this off-season if he's serious about taking the next step forward or setting the cruise control towards regular 8 win seasons.

One assessment that needs to be made- which units are performing up to their talent level?

Who were the two you picked as inferior?

That second half offensive game plan was terrible. Should have used a run heavy, play-action pass scheme. We win if he adjusted to that but his stubborn ass kept running as fast as possible. Hopefully he will learn from it

I watched his demeanor on the sidelines and he seems “off”.

There’s no fire or passion from him.

I do wonder if coaching in the SEC is starting to stress him out a bit.

At the point sports are in general right now, I wouldn't be shocked if he's been compromised. Does anyone know if he's known to place wagers on friendly competitions?

Josh's strategy seems to be if defense gives up 50 points, our offense will score 52. Mark my word, this off season the staff will go after 4* and 5* offense players but we don't seem to attract top defense. Even bigger problem is the defense play calling and preparation just totally lacking

1000 x this...he takes the NY Jets, Dallas Cowboys approach and just like them, it doesn't work.

3 losses at home. Should have been 4. We really could easily be 6-6. Should have lost to Arky and Miss St.

The Vols defense is awful. We are close to the bottom in scoring defense. I attended my fist game in 1963. We had a history of playing great defense for years with Naumoff, Reynolds, Kiner, Walker, Reggie White Henderson , etc. We have lost that connection with our history. I am personally sick of the stupid gray uniforms. Unfortunately the focus is now on money. I paid over $350.00 for GA tickets. Tn made a deal with the devil by making it necessary to go through TicketMaster to get tickets. I am not going to throw any more money away on tickets to watch this trash. I went to the Alabama game ($240.00 per ticket) and the GA game. This team looked uninspired to me tonight.

Sure looks like Feinbaum was justified tonight. This program is in trouble. Heupel is just not very disciplined, in his management of his head coaches and also in his personal life.
To put things in perspective there are 12 colleges today looking for a coach.
Florida St Norvell is 7-16 over the last 2 years, Ky Stoops is 72-80 OA, Shane Beemer is 5-7 this year..all schools that could be also looking for coaches. And there is only 1 Lane Kiffin to go around . I think Josh needs to stay but change the defense staff some

This has been a common theme since Fulmer. All of our teams since 2008 have had issues on defense, notably on the secondary. Nothing like the 1998 team or early 2000s teams.
