Chambers. dT from NC stayed committed to Fulmer till signing day then flipped to fla and Spurrier. Then said it was his and SOS idea all along. Talk about pieces of **** that deserve each other

What about those recruits that saw the light and switched to all VOL and jilted some other school.

This would interest me more...

Nukeese & Bryson & Oku can be totally left out of this discussion

That one is easy.... Janzen Jackson. LSU fans put pins in a Volunteer voodoo doll after what Jackson, Jackson's Dad, and Lamo cooked together on signing day. Everyone knows this is a business but damn that was just not right.

Da'Rick jilted Georgia for us at the last second, I wish they'd kept him.

So far we have Jackson, Oku, Brown, Nukeese, Da'Rick.

Seems to me these are athletically gifted young men with issues.

... just my observation....

I hate threads like this

Yeah. It ends up being about bashing someone that is gone, why focus on the past.

Someone did mentioned JC Copeland, I actually feel like it was a win-win for everyone involved in that one. Copeland was never going to play DL in the SEC, so although it was not good for the Vols on that day, I actually think it worked out best for all. IMHO

I read the OP. Just cause a kid led us along and then flipped doesn't mean its not kid bashing. Yes, I hope those kids have little or no football success at the place they flip to, but that doesn't mean we need to relive which recruit screwed us the most. The past is the past.

In no way did the OP say "hey, let's bash kids".

There was no invitation to attack the character of a teenager. However, you think it's appropriate to hope that 17-18 year old kid fails???

You got issues, man.

Didn't Chris Simms say he was Vol and hung us out to dry?He is my choice if true.

He did an official visit and hung out with Travis Henry and later said that people were prejudice at U.T.

The truth is that he was afraid of the competition at the q.b. position.

I'd say the real insults come from the people who keep calling them "kids" as if they can't tell right from wrong. They can, and those who shamelessly lie deserve to be held accountable for their behavior.

A.J. Suggs & Tee Martin were q.b. in 1999, so he likely was afraid of the competition.

For those of you saying this is a bashing thread...

1.) I am not wanting players that ever went to Tennessee.
2.) I am asking who strung us along during recruitment to go elsewhere
